It features touchless operation via infrared sensors, a powerful 1000-watt motor, and high-efficiency filters to capture dust, hair, and other dry debris. Please read this manual thoroughly before initial use to ensure proper operation and maintenance.

5. Setup

Setting up your EYE-VAC Home is a straightforward process:

  1. Unpack the Unit: Carefully remove all packaging materials.
  2. Place in Desired Location: Position the EyeVac on a flat, dry surface in an area where sweeping is frequently performed, such as a kitchen or entryway. Ensure the power cord can reach an electrical outlet without being strained.
  3. Plug In: Connect the power cord to a standard electrical outlet.

6. Operating Instructions

The EYE-VAC Home offers two operating modes: Auto and Manual.

6.1. Auto Mode (Recommended for daily use)

  1. Press the Power button to turn on the unit.
  2. Press the Auto button. The blue indicator light for Auto mode will illuminate.
  3. Sweep debris directly towards the inlet of the EyeVac. The infrared sensors will detect the debris and automatically activate the vacuum for a few seconds to suction the debris into the canister.
  4. The vacuum will automatically turn off once the debris is cleared.

6.2. Manual Mode

  1. Press the Power button to turn on the unit.
  2. Press the Manual button. The blue indicator light for Manual mode will illuminate.
  3. To activate the vacuum, press the Activate button. The vacuum will run continuously until the Activate button is pressed again, or until the unit is switched off.
  4. Sweep debris into the inlet while the vacuum is running.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your EyeVac.

7.1. Emptying the Dust Canister

The "Canister Full" indicator light will illuminate when the canister needs to be emptied.

  1. Ensure the unit is turned off and unplugged.
  2. Grasp the lid handle and lift the lid to access the canister.
  3. Carefully remove the canister from the unit.
  4. Empty the collected debris into a trash bin.
  5. Replace the canister and close the lid securely.

7.2. Cleaning the Filters

The EyeVac is equipped with high-efficiency washable filters. Clean them regularly to maintain suction power.

  1. Ensure the unit is turned off and unplugged.
  2. Remove the dust canister as described above.
  3. Carefully remove the pre-motor filter from the canister.
  4. Tap the filter gently over a trash bin to remove loose dust. For a deeper clean, rinse the filter under cool running water until the water runs clear.
  5. Allow the filter to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinserting. Do not use the vacuum with a wet filter.
  6. The exhaust filter is typically located on the side or back of the unit. Refer to the product overview diagram for its exact location. Remove and clean it similarly to the pre-motor filter.
  7. Replace both filters and the dust canister securely before operating the unit.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your EyeVac, refer to the table below for common problems and solutions.
