1. Introduction

3. Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the padded carrying case. Ensure all parts listed in the packaging contents are present.
2. Mounting the Light: Attach the LS C120d II light unit to a compatible light stand using its integrated mount. Secure it firmly.
3. Connecting the Control Box: Connect the light unit to the control box using the provided power cable. Ensure the connections are secure.
4. Power Connection: Plug the control box into a suitable power outlet. The control box also supports battery power (V-mount or Gold-mount, not included) for portable use.
5. Attaching Accessories: If desired, attach any Bowens mount compatible light modifiers (e.g., softbox, Fresnel lens) to the front of the light unit.

4. Operating Instructions

The LS C120d II offers straightforward operation for precise lighting control.

4.1 Power On/Off

Press the power button on the control box to turn the unit on or off. The display on the control box will illuminate upon power-on.

4.2 Brightness Adjustment

Use the control knob on the control box or the included remote control to adjust the light's intensity. The brightness can be smoothly dimmed from 1% to 100%.

5. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the light unit and control box. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• COB Protection: Always ensure the protective cap is on the COB surface when the light is not in use or during transport to prevent damage. Avoid touching the COB surface directly.
• Storage: Store the light in its padded carrying case in a cool, dry place when not in use.
• Cable Care: Handle power and connection cables carefully to prevent fraying or damage. Use the included cable ties for organized storage.

6. Troubleshooting

• Light Not Turning On: Check all power connections. Ensure the power cable is securely plugged into both the control box and the wall outlet. Verify the power outlet is functional.
• No Light Output: Confirm the brightness level is not set to 0%. Check if the protective cap has been removed from the COB surface.
• Unusual Noise: The fan is designed for quiet operation. If you hear excessive or unusual noise, ensure the fan vents are not obstructed.
• Remote Control Issues: Check the remote's battery. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the control box.
