2. Safety Guidelines

4. Setup and Assembly

The MEGAWHEELS S5 Electric Scooter comes largely pre-assembled. Follow these steps for final setup:

1. Unfolding the Scooter: Carefully remove the scooter from its packaging. Locate the folding latch mechanism. Press down the hook until it disengages from the rear fender buckle. Hold the front pole upright, then pull up the folding lever and push back until the stem locks into the upright position.
2. Attaching the Handlebars: Insert the left and right handlebars into their respective sockets on the T-bar until they click securely into place. Ensure they are firmly attached and do not wobble.

5. Operating Instructions

2. Speed Modes: The scooter offers two speed modes. Press the Power Key (3) briefly to switch between 1st gear (approximately 11 MPH for a comfortable ride) and 2nd gear (approximately 15.5 MPH for a faster experience). The current speed mode will be indicated on the display.
3. Acceleration: To accelerate, gently press the Accelerate Throttle (2) with your thumb.
4. Braking: The scooter is equipped with both an Electric Brake (7) and a Brake Handle (1) for mechanical braking. Use the Brake Handle for primary braking. Apply brakes smoothly to avoid sudden stops.
5. Lights: The scooter features an Ultra bright LED headlight (6) and a taillight. The taillight flashes when brakes are applied.
6. Bell: Use the Mechanical Bell (8) to alert pedestrians and other riders of your presence.

6. Charging

To charge your MEGAWHEELS S5 Electric Scooter:

1. Ensure the scooter is powered off before charging.
2. Locate the charging port, typically on the side of the deck. Note that the charging port may be less accessible when the scooter is in its folded position.
3. Connect the charging adapter to the scooter's charging port, then plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet.
4. The battery indicator on the display will show charging status. A full charge typically takes about 3 hours.
