1. Introduction
The Renkforce BTHP-100 is a versatile Bluetooth device designed to function as both a transmitter and a receiver. This unit allows you to wirelessly stream audio from non-Bluetooth devices to Bluetooth-enabled headphones or speakers (Transmitter mode), or to receive audio from Bluetooth sources like smartphones and tablets to non-Bluetooth audio systems (Receiver mode). It supports Bluetooth Version 4.2 with aptX and SBC codecs, offering a range of up to 100 meters in optimal conditions.

3. Device Layout
Familiarize yourself with the various ports and indicators on the BTHP-100 unit.

Front Panel Indicators and Controls:
- RX/TX Switch: Toggles between Receiver and Transmitter modes.
- OPT/AUX Indicator: Shows the currently selected audio input/output type (Optical or Auxiliary).
- SBC/aptX/LL Indicator: Displays the active Bluetooth audio codec (SBC, aptX, or aptX Low Latency).
- Pairing Button: Initiates Bluetooth pairing mode.
- Volume Buttons (+/-): Adjusts audio volume.
4. Setup
4.1 Power Connection
- Connect the supplied USB power cable to the DC IN port on the BTHP-100.
- Plug the other end of the USB cable into a USB power adapter (not included) or a powered USB port (e.g., on a computer or TV).
- The device will power on automatically.
4.2 Mode Selection (Transmitter/Receiver)
Use the RX/TX switch on the unit to select the desired operating mode:
- TX (Transmitter) Mode: To send audio from a non-Bluetooth device (e.g., TV, stereo) to Bluetooth headphones or speakers.
- RX (Receiver) Mode: To receive audio from a Bluetooth device (e.g., smartphone, tablet) and output it to a non-Bluetooth audio system (e.g., wired speakers, amplifier).

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Transmitter (TX) Mode
In TX mode, the BTHP-100 sends audio from a connected source to Bluetooth headphones or speakers.
- Set the RX/TX switch to TX.
- Connect Audio Source:
- For Optical Audio: Connect an optical cable from your audio source's optical output to the BTHP-100's TX Input (Optical).
- For Auxiliary Audio: Connect a 3.5mm audio cable from your audio source's headphone jack or audio output to the BTHP-100's TX Input (AUX).
- Pairing:
- Put your Bluetooth headphones/speakers into pairing mode.
- Press the Pairing button on the BTHP-100. The Bluetooth indicator will flash, indicating it is searching for devices.
- Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator will remain solid, and the codec indicator (SBC/aptX/LL) will light up.
- Audio Playback: Start playing audio on your source device. The sound will be transmitted to your paired Bluetooth device.

5.2 Receiver (RX) Mode
In RX mode, the BTHP-100 receives audio from a Bluetooth source and outputs it to a connected audio system.
- Set the RX/TX switch to RX.
- Connect Audio Output:
- For Optical Audio: Connect an optical cable from the BTHP-100's RX Output (Optical) to your audio system's optical input.
- For Auxiliary Audio: Connect a 3.5mm audio cable (or RCA adapter) from the BTHP-100's RX Output (AUX) to your audio system's auxiliary input.
- Pairing:
- On your Bluetooth source device (e.g., smartphone), enable Bluetooth and search for new devices.
- Select "Renkforce BTHP-100" from the list of available devices.
- Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator on the BTHP-100 will remain solid, and the codec indicator will light up.
- Audio Playback: Start playing audio on your Bluetooth source device. The sound will be output through your connected audio system.
5.3 Volume Control
Use the + and - buttons on the BTHP-100 to adjust the output volume. Note that volume control may also be available on your connected source or receiving device.
6. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Renkforce BTHP-100, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as they may damage the surface or internal components.
