Setup and First Use

Operating Instructions

Temperature and Fabric Selection

Always check the garment's care label for ironing instructions. If unsure, test on an inconspicuous area.

1. Plug the iron into a suitable power outlet (230V, 50Hz).
2. Turn the temperature control dial to the desired setting based on the fabric type. The indicator light will illuminate.
3. Wait for the indicator light to turn off, indicating the iron has reached the set temperature. It will cycle on and off during ironing to maintain temperature.

Steam Ironing

Steam ironing is effective for most fabrics, especially cotton and linen.

1. Ensure the water tank is filled (see "Filling the Water Tank").
2. Set the temperature dial to a steam-suitable setting (usually Cotton, Linen, or Max). Steam will only be produced at higher temperatures.
3. Once the indicator light turns off, slide the steam control to the desired steam level.
4. Begin ironing.

Dry Ironing

For delicate fabrics or when steam is not required.

• Ensure the water tank is empty or the steam control is set to the 'Dry' position.
• Set the temperature dial according to the fabric type.
• Wait for the indicator light to turn off before ironing.

Steam Burst Function

Provides an extra powerful shot of steam to remove stubborn creases.

• Ensure the iron is at a high temperature setting and the water tank is filled.
• Press the Steam Burst button. Wait a few seconds between bursts to allow the steam to regenerate.

Mist Spray Function

Dampens fabric for easier ironing, especially for dry creases.

• Ensure the water tank is filled.
• Point the spray nozzle towards the garment and press the Mist Spray button.

Vertical Ironing

Ideal for removing creases from hanging garments, curtains, or drapes.

• Hang the garment on a hanger.
• Hold the iron vertically, a few centimeters away from the fabric.
• Press the Steam Burst button to release steam. Do not let the soleplate touch the fabric directly.

Care and Maintenance

After Each Use

• Unplug the iron and allow it to cool completely.
• Empty any remaining water from the tank.
• Wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth to remove any starch or residue.
• Store the iron upright on its heel rest.

Self-Cleaning Function (Anti-Calc)

Use this function regularly (e.g., once a month) to remove mineral deposits and maintain steam performance.

1. Fill the water tank to the MAX level.
2. Plug in the iron and set the temperature dial to MAX.
3. Once the indicator light turns off, unplug the iron.
4. Hold the iron horizontally over a sink.
5. Press and hold the Self-Clean button. Hot water and steam will be expelled from the soleplate, carrying away impurities.
6. Gently shake the iron back and forth until the water tank is empty.
7. Release the Self-Clean button.
8. Plug the iron back in, let it heat up to dry the soleplate, then unplug and store.
