5.1 Taking Measurements

  1. Ensure the device is powered on and has completed its warm-up phase.
  2. Place the device in the area where you wish to measure air quality. For accurate readings, ensure the air intake vents are unobstructed.
  3. Press the RUN/STOP button to begin continuous measurement. The display will update with real-time readings for PM2.5, PM10, HCHO, and TVOC.
  4. To pause measurements, press the RUN/STOP button again.

5.2 Understanding the Display

The LCD screen provides a comprehensive overview of air quality. Key indicators include:

  • PM2.5: Particulate matter with a diameter of 2.5 micrometers or less. Displayed in µg/m³.
  • PM10: Particulate matter with a diameter of 10 micrometers or less. Displayed in µg/m³.
  • HCHO: Formaldehyde concentration. Displayed in mg/m³.
  • TVOC: Total Volatile Organic Compounds concentration. Displayed in mg/m³.
  • Hazard Indicator: A visual icon (e.g., happy, neutral, sad face) or color-coded bar indicating the overall air quality level based on the readings.
