2. Safety Information
WARNING: Electrical installations should only be carried out by qualified electricians. Improper installation can lead to electric shock, fire, or other hazards. Always disconnect power at the main circuit breaker before performing any electrical work.
- Ensure the power supply is switched off before installation or maintenance.
- Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of the detector (600W for LED/energy-saving lamps, 1200W for incandescent bulbs).
- This product is designed for indoor use only. Do not expose to moisture or extreme temperatures.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Do not attempt to modify or repair the device yourself. Contact qualified personnel for service.
3. Product Overview
The SEBSON HF Motion Detector is a recessed wall-mounted unit. It features adjustable settings for light sensitivity (LUX), detection sensitivity (SENS), and illumination duration (TIME).
3.1 Components
- Front Panel: Contains the HF sensor and a small indicator light.
- Rear Housing: Houses the wiring terminals and adjustment dials.
- Adjustment Dials: Three dials for LUX, SENS, and TIME settings.
- Operating Mode Switch: Allows selection between ON, OFF, and AUTO modes.

4. Installation
This motion detector is designed for recessed wall mounting in a 60mm flush-mounted box or 68mm cavity box.
4.1 Pre-installation Checklist
- Ensure the power supply to the installation area is completely disconnected.
- Verify that the chosen location is suitable for motion detection (e.g., not obstructed by large furniture).
- Confirm that the wall box dimensions are compatible (60mm flush-mounted or 68mm cavity box).
4.2 Wiring Diagram (General)
The detector requires a 3-wire connection. Connect the live wire (L), neutral wire (N), and the switched live wire (L') to the corresponding terminals on the back of the device. Refer to the markings on the device for correct connections.

4.3 Installation Steps
- Disconnect power at the main circuit breaker.
- Carefully remove the existing switch or cover from the wall box.
- Connect the wires from the wall box to the corresponding terminals on the SEBSON motion detector.
- Mount the detector into the wall box, ensuring it is securely fastened.
- Replace the front panel.
- Restore power and test the device.
5. Operation & Settings
The motion detector has three adjustable settings and an operating mode switch.

5.1 Adjustment Dials
- LUX (Light Sensitivity): Adjusts the ambient light threshold at which the sensor becomes active.
- ☀ (Sun icon): Detector is active in bright conditions (daylight).
- ☾ (Moon icon): Detector is active only in dark conditions (night).
- Range: 3 to 2000 LUX.
- SENS (Detection Sensitivity): Adjusts the sensitivity of the motion sensor.
- '+': Higher sensitivity, detects smaller movements or at greater distances.
- '-': Lower sensitivity, detects larger movements or at shorter distances.
- Range: 5 to 15 meters.
- TIME (Illumination Duration): Sets how long the light remains on after motion is detected and no further motion is sensed.
- Range: 10 seconds to 12 minutes.
5.2 Operating Mode Switch
Located on the rear housing, this switch allows you to select the operating mode:
- ON: The connected light remains continuously on, bypassing the motion sensor.
- OFF: The connected light remains continuously off.
- AUTO: The motion detector operates according to the LUX, SENS, and TIME settings.

5.3 Detection Range
The HF sensor detects motion within a 180° angle and up to 15 meters, depending on the SENS setting and environmental factors. The optimal mounting height is between 1m and 1.8m.
