4. Setup

4.1. Battery Installation

1. Carefully remove the back cover of the phone by gently prying it open from the notch usually located at the bottom or side.
2. Align the gold contacts of the battery with the contacts in the battery compartment.
3. Gently press the battery into place until it sits securely.
4. Replace the back cover, ensuring it clicks firmly into position.

4.2. SIM Card Installation

1. With the battery removed, locate the SIM card slot. It is usually a small metal tray or slot.
2. Insert your standard-sized SIM card into the slot, ensuring the cut corner aligns with the diagram next to the slot.
3. Gently push the SIM card until it is fully seated.
4. Reinstall the battery and back cover.

4.3. Charging the Battery

1. Connect the small end of the USB charging cable to the charging port on your phone (usually at the bottom).
2. Connect the larger end of the USB cable to the power adapter.
3. Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.

4.4. Initial Power On

1. Press and hold the red End/Power button until the Doro logo appears on the screen.

5. Operating Your Phone

5.1. Making Calls

1. From the home screen, use the numeric keypad to dial the desired phone number.
2. Press the green Call button to initiate the call.
3. To end the call, press the red End button.
4. To call a contact: Navigate to the "Contacts" menu, select the desired contact, and press the green Call button.

5.2. Receiving Calls

• When an incoming call rings, press the green Call button to answer.
• To reject a call, press the red End button.

5.3. Contacts (Phonebook)

• Adding a Contact: Go to Menu > Contacts > Options > Add New. Enter the name and phone number, then save.
• Editing a Contact: Select the contact from the list, go to Options > Edit. Make changes and save.
• Deleting a Contact: Select the contact, go to Options > Delete. Confirm deletion.
