The TOPWIT GLH-120A Electric Hot Pot includes the following components:

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for storage or future transport.
  2. Inspect: Check the appliance for any signs of damage. Do not use if damaged.
  3. Clean: Before first use, wash the inner pot and glass lid with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the exterior of the pot with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit with the power cord in water.
  4. Placement: Place the electric hot pot on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface away from flammable materials. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit.
  5. Power Connection: Ensure the power switch is in the "OFF" position before plugging the non-detachable power cord into a suitable electrical outlet (110V).

5. Operating Instructions

General Cooking

  1. Add desired ingredients and liquid (if applicable) to the inner pot. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.
  2. Place the glass lid on the pot.
  3. Plug the appliance into a power outlet.
  4. Select the desired power level using the switch on the handle:
    • Low (400W): Suitable for gentle heating, simmering, cooking eggs, oatmeal, or instant noodles.
    • High (1000W): Ideal for rapid boiling, frying, cooking steaks, or hot pot.
  5. The indicator light will illuminate when the power is on.
  6. Monitor your food through the glass lid. Adjust the power setting as needed.
  7. Once cooking is complete, switch the power to "OFF" and unplug the appliance from the outlet.
  8. Use caution when serving hot food.

Using the Egg Steamer Rack (if included)

  1. Pour water into the pot, ensuring it does not cover the egg steamer rack when placed inside.
  2. Place the egg steamer rack into the pot.
  3. Carefully place eggs into the designated holes on the rack.
  4. Cover with the glass lid.
  5. Select the desired power level (usually Low for steaming).
  6. Steam until eggs reach desired doneness.
  7. Switch off and unplug. Use caution when removing hot eggs and rack.

Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your TOPWIT Electric Hot Pot.

  1. Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Inner Pot Cleaning: The inner pot has a non-stick coating. Clean it with warm soapy water and a soft sponge. Avoid abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads that can damage the non-stick surface. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
  3. Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the pot with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit (with the power cord) in water or any other liquid.
  4. Lid Cleaning: The glass lid can be washed with warm soapy water, rinsed, and dried.
  5. Storage: Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storing. Store the appliance in a cool, dry place.

If you encounter issues with your TOPWIT Electric Hot Pot, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
