Setup

  3. First Use Cycle: To clean the internal components, fill the water tank to the MAX line with fresh water. Do not add coffee beans or ground coffee. Place the empty carafe with its lid on the warming plate. Press the "Brew" button to run a full brewing cycle with just water. Discard the water after the cycle. Repeat this process once more.
  4. Placement: Place the coffee maker on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface, away from the edge of the counter. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit.
  5. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. The LED display will illuminate.

    • For Whole Beans: Pour whole coffee beans into the bean container. Close the lid securely.
    • For Pre-Ground Coffee: Place a paper filter (or permanent filter if included) into the filter basket. Add the desired amount of pre-ground coffee. Close the lid securely.
  3. Start Brewing:
    • Grind & Brew: If using whole beans, press the "Grind" button. The machine will grind the beans and then automatically begin brewing.
    • Brew Pre-Ground: If using pre-ground coffee, press the "Brew" button. The machine will begin brewing immediately.
  4. Keep Warm: After brewing is complete, the coffee maker will automatically switch to a "Keep Warm" mode, maintaining the coffee's temperature for up to 30 minutes.

Programmable Timer

The programmable timer allows you to set a specific time for the coffee maker to start brewing automatically.

  1. Prepare the coffee maker with water and coffee (beans or ground) as described in the "Brewing Coffee" section.
  2. Press the "Program/Timer" button. The display will show "PROG".
  3. Use the "HR" and "MIN" buttons to set your desired start time.
