Maintenance
Cleaning
Wipe the watch regularly with a soft, damp cloth. For silicone straps, mild soap and water can be used. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the watch finish or strap.
Battery Replacement
The watch uses one Lithium Metal battery (included). When the display dims or functions become erratic, it may be time to replace the battery. Battery replacement should ideally be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.
Water Resistance Care
To maintain water resistance, ensure the watch case and buttons are free from damage. Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperature changes, as this can affect the seals. Do not operate buttons while the watch is submerged in water.
Troubleshooting
- Display is blank or dim: The battery may be low or depleted. Replace the battery.
- Time is incorrect: Re-set the time following the instructions in the 'Setting Time and Date' section. Ensure the correct 12/24-hour format is selected.
- Buttons are unresponsive: Ensure the watch is not in a locked mode (if applicable, though this model typically does not have one). If the issue persists, a battery replacement or professional inspection may be needed.
- Water inside the watch: Immediately take the watch to a qualified watch technician for inspection and repair to prevent further damage.
