  1. Nozzle Release Button: Press to detach the nozzle.

4. Setup and Charging

4.1 Initial Charge

Before first use, fully charge the device. The integrated battery ensures portability.

  1. Locate the charging port at the bottom of the device.
  2. Insert the charging cable firmly into the port.
  3. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a suitable USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
  4. The charging indicator light will illuminate. A full charge typically takes several hours.
  5. Once fully charged, disconnect the cable.

4.2 Attaching a Nozzle

  1. Select the desired nozzle (standard, tongue cleaner, or orthodontic).
  2. Insert the nozzle into the opening at the top of the flosser until it clicks securely into place.
  3. To remove, press the nozzle release button and pull the nozzle upwards.

4.3 Filling the Water Tank

  1. Open the water tank cover located on the side of the device.
  2. Fill the 150ml tank with lukewarm water. You may also use dentist-recommended mouthwash.
  3. Close the water tank cover firmly to prevent leakage.

5. Operating the Device

5.1 Selecting an Operating Mode

The Berdsen ClearJet X3 offers three operating modes:

Press the Mode button to cycle through these settings. The corresponding LED indicator will light up.

5.2 Usage Instructions

  1. Ensure the water tank is filled and a nozzle is securely attached.
  2. Select your desired operating mode.
  3. Lean over a sink and place the nozzle tip into your mouth, aiming it at your gumline at a 90-degree angle.
  4. Press the On/Off button to start the water flow.
  5. Guide the water jet along your gumline, pausing briefly between teeth. Allow the water to flow into the sink.
  6. The device features a 2-minute auto-timer, after which it will automatically shut off.
  7. After use, press the On/Off button to turn off the device if it hasn't already.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and hygiene.

6.1 After Each Use

  1. Empty any remaining water from the tank.
  2. Run the device briefly with an empty tank to clear any residual water from the internal components.
  3. Remove the nozzle and rinse it under running water.
  4. Wipe the main unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  5. Allow all parts to air dry before storing.

6.2 Descaling (Monthly)

To prevent mineral buildup, descale the unit monthly:

  1. Mix 1 part white vinegar with 2 parts water in the water tank.
  2. Run the solution through the device until the tank is empty.
  3. Rinse the tank and run two full tanks of clean water through the device to flush out any vinegar residue.

7. Troubleshooting
