4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

To clean the remote control, wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners, abrasive pads, or chemical solvents, as these can damage the remote's surface or internal components.

4.2 Battery Replacement

Replace batteries when the remote control's range decreases or it stops responding. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new AAA batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.

4.3 Storage

If the remote control will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and potential damage to the device.

5. Troubleshooting

  • Remote not responding:
    • Check if the batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity.
    • Replace the batteries with fresh AAA batteries.
    • Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote control and the air conditioner's receiver.
    • Verify that the remote control is pointed directly at the air conditioner.
  • Some functions do not work:
    • As a replacement remote, it may not support all advanced or specific functions of your original air conditioner remote. This is normal for universal or replacement units.
    • Confirm your air conditioner model is listed as compatible.
  • Short operating range:
    • Replace the batteries.
    • Ensure the remote's infrared emitter is clean and unobstructed.
