The main seconds hand is red. A date window is visible at 4 o'clock. The watch has a black stainless-steel case and a black leather strap. The bezel is marked with numbers 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60.

Key Features:

3. Setup

3.1 Initial Charging

Your Pulsar Solar watch is powered by light. Before initial use, expose the watch dial to a strong light source (natural sunlight is ideal) for several hours to ensure it is fully charged. Avoid placing the watch in direct sunlight for extended periods in extremely hot environments to prevent damage.

3.2 Setting Time and Date

  1. Pull out the crown: Gently pull the crown (the knob on the side of the watch) to the second click position. The second hand will stop.
  2. Set the time: Rotate the crown to set the hour and minute hands. Pay attention to the 24-hour sub-dial to ensure AM/PM is correctly set for the date change.
  3. Set the date: Push the crown back to the first click position. Rotate the crown to adjust the date. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can interfere with the date change mechanism.
  4. Push in the crown: Once the time and date are set, push the crown back into its normal position. The second hand will resume movement.

3.3 Adjusting the Strap

The black leather strap is designed for comfort. To adjust the fit, locate the buckle and select the appropriate hole that allows the watch to sit snugly but comfortably on your wrist. Ensure the watch is not too tight, which can restrict circulation, or too loose, which can cause it to move excessively.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Basic Timekeeping

Once set, your Pulsar watch will accurately display the current time and date. The main hour and minute hands indicate the current time, while the small second hand (red, at 6 o'clock) functions as the chronograph second hand. The 24-hour sub-dial (at 3 o'clock) provides a 24-hour format display of the current time.

4.2 Using the Chronograph

The chronograph function allows you to measure elapsed time. The watch features two pushers on the side, typically located at 2 o'clock and 4 o'clock positions relative to the crown.

  1. Start: Press the upper pusher (A) to start the chronograph. The red second hand (at 6 o'clock) will begin to move, and the minute counter (at 9 o'clock) will track elapsed minutes.
  2. Stop: Press the upper pusher (A) again to stop the chronograph. The elapsed time will be indicated by the red second hand and the minute counter.
  3. Reset: After stopping, press the lower pusher (B) to reset the chronograph. All chronograph hands will return to their zero positions.
  4. Split Time (if applicable): Some chronographs allow for split time measurement. Refer to the detailed movement instructions if your specific model supports this.

4.3 Water Resistance

This watch is water resistant up to 100 meters (10 ATM). This means it is suitable for everyday use, swimming, and snorkeling. It is not suitable for scuba diving. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before exposing the watch to water. Do not operate the pushers or crown while the watch is wet or submerged.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning Your Watch

To maintain the appearance of your watch, wipe the case and crystal with a soft, dry cloth. For the leather strap, avoid excessive moisture and harsh chemicals. If the watch becomes dirty, especially after exposure to saltwater, rinse it gently with fresh water and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.

5.2 Solar Charging Best Practices

5.3 Strap Care

Leather straps are susceptible to wear and tear from moisture, sweat, and direct sunlight. To prolong the life of your leather strap:
