Introduction

Setup

1. Battery Installation

The remote control requires two (2) AAA alkaline batteries (not included).

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
  2. Press down on the latch and slide the battery cover downwards to open it.
  3. Insert two new AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
  4. Slide the battery cover back into place until it clicks securely.

2. Initial Use

This replacement remote control does not require any programming or pairing. Once the batteries are correctly installed, it is ready for immediate use with compatible Hisense LED Smart TVs.

Operating Instructions

Point the remote control directly at your Hisense TV's infrared receiver for optimal performance. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV.

Button Functions:

  • VOL +/-: Adjusts the volume level.
  • Mute (Speaker with X): Mutes or unmutes the TV audio.
  • CH +/-: Changes the TV channel up or down.
  • Live TV: Switches to live television broadcast.
  • Media Playback Controls (Play/Pause, Stop, Rewind, Fast Forward, Skip Back, Skip Forward): Controls media playback in compatible applications or USB media.
  • SLEEP: Sets a sleep timer for the TV.
  • Dedicated App Buttons (Netflix, Amazon, Vudu, YouTube): Directly launch the respective streaming applications.

Maintenance

Battery Replacement

Replace batteries when the remote control's response becomes inconsistent or stops working. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new AAA alkaline batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.

Cleaning

To clean the remote control, gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners, sprays, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the remote's surface or internal components.

Storage
