Setup
1. Unpacking and Initial Cleaning:
- Remove all packaging materials and protective films from the appliance.
- Clean the thermal carafe, Thermo to go mug, filter holder, and lid with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Wipe the exterior of the coffee machine with a damp cloth.
2. First Use (Rinsing Cycle):
- Place the coffee machine on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface.
- Fill the water tank with fresh, cold water up to the 'MAX' mark.
- Insert the empty filter holder into its designated position. Do not add coffee grounds.
- Place the thermal carafe with its lid closed under the filter holder.
- Plug the appliance into a suitable power outlet.
- Press the start button to initiate a brewing cycle with only water.
- Allow the cycle to complete. Discard the water from the carafe.
- Repeat this rinsing cycle once more to ensure thorough cleaning.

Operating Instructions
Brewing Coffee:
- Ensure the coffee machine is clean and the thermal carafe is empty.
- Fill the water tank with fresh, cold water according to the desired number of cups (up to 5 cups).
- Insert a paper filter (size 1x2 or similar, refer to product specifications) into the filter holder.
- Add the desired amount of ground coffee into the paper filter. A general guideline is one level tablespoon of coffee per cup (125ml).
- Close the filter holder and the top lid securely.
- Place the thermal carafe with its lid closed under the filter holder.
- Press the start button to begin the brewing process. The indicator light will illuminate.
- Once brewing is complete, the machine will automatically switch off.
- Carefully remove the thermal carafe and serve. The thermal carafe will keep the coffee warm for several hours.
- To use the Thermo to go mug, simply pour coffee from the thermal carafe into the mug and secure the lid.

Programming the Timer:
The coffee machine features a programmable timer, allowing you to set a specific time for brewing to start automatically.
- Prepare the coffee machine for brewing as described above (water, filter, coffee grounds, carafe in place).
- Press the timer button (often indicated by a clock icon) on the control panel.
- Use the '+' and '-' buttons to set the desired start time for brewing.
- Press the timer button again to confirm the setting. The timer indicator light will illuminate.
- The machine will automatically start brewing at the programmed time.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of your coffee machine.
Daily Cleaning:
- Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
- Remove and discard the used paper filter and coffee grounds.
- Wash the filter holder, thermal carafe, and Thermo to go mug with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Wipe the exterior of the coffee machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the main unit in water.
Descaling (Anti-Calc Program):
Limescale buildup can affect brewing performance and taste. The machine features an Anti-Calc Program for easy descaling.
- The descaling indicator light will illuminate when descaling is required.
- Prepare a descaling solution according to the manufacturer's instructions (e.g., citric acid-based descaler or vinegar solution).
- Fill the water tank with the descaling solution up to the 'MAX' mark.
- Place the empty thermal carafe with its lid closed under the filter holder.
- Initiate the descaling program (refer to your machine's specific button combination for the Anti-Calc program, usually by holding the start button or a dedicated descaling button).
- Allow the descaling cycle to complete. Discard the solution.
- Run at least two full brewing cycles with fresh, cold water to rinse the machine thoroughly.
