Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your projector. Always power off and unplug the projector before performing any maintenance.

1. Cleaning the Air Filter

The air filter prevents dust from entering the projector and affecting performance. Clean the filter regularly (e.g., every 100 hours of use or when prompted by the projector).

  1. Locate the air filter cover, usually on the side or bottom of the projector.
  2. Open the cover and carefully remove the filter.
  3. Use a small vacuum cleaner or a soft brush to remove dust from the filter. Do not wash the filter with water.
  4. Reinsert the clean filter and close the cover securely.
  5. Reset the filter counter in the projector's menu (refer to the full operating instructions).

2. Cleaning the Projector Lens

Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses. Gently wipe the lens in a circular motion. Do not use abrasive cleaners or excessive force.

3. Lamp Replacement

The projector lamp has a finite lifespan (up to 7,000 hours in Eco mode). When the lamp indicator illuminates or the image becomes dim, the lamp needs replacement. Only use genuine Panasonic replacement lamps.

  1. Power off the projector and unplug the power cord. Allow the projector to cool down completely (at least 45 minutes).
  2. Locate the lamp cover (refer to the full operating instructions for exact location).
  3. Unscrew the lamp cover and carefully remove the old lamp module.
  4. Insert the new lamp module, ensuring it is seated correctly.
  5. Secure the lamp cover and plug in the power cord.
  6. Reset the lamp hour counter in the projector's menu.

Caution: Projector lamps contain mercury. Dispose of used lamps according to local regulations.
