1. Important Safety Information
Please read all instructions carefully before operating the GDAE10 Digital Heat Press Machine. Failure to follow these safety guidelines may result in injury or damage to the machine.
- Electrical Safety: Ensure the machine is connected to a grounded 110V power outlet. Do not use extension cords that are not rated for the machine's wattage (600W). Disconnect power when not in use or before cleaning.
- Hot Surfaces: The heating platen reaches high temperatures (up to 250°C / 482°F). Avoid direct contact with the heating elements during operation and cool-down. Use heat-resistant gloves if necessary.
- Ventilation: Operate the machine in a well-ventilated area to dissipate any fumes that may be produced during heat transfer.
- Children and Pets: Keep children and pets away from the machine during operation and while it is cooling down.
- Stable Surface: Place the machine on a stable, heat-resistant surface to prevent tipping or accidental movement.
- Flammable Materials: Keep flammable materials away from the heat press.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Powering On and Setting Parameters
- Turn on the main power switch, usually located on the side or front of the machine. The digital display will illuminate.
- Press the 'SET' button to enter temperature setting mode. Use the up and down arrow buttons to adjust the desired temperature (e.g., 180°C for clothing).
- Press 'SET' again to confirm the temperature and enter time setting mode. Use the up and down arrow buttons to adjust the desired time (e.g., 15-50 seconds for clothing).
- Press 'SET' one more time to confirm the time. The machine will begin heating to the set temperature.

4.2 Application Guidelines
Always perform a small test print on a sample material to determine the optimal temperature and time settings before proceeding with large quantities.
- General Principle: A heat press machine applies a transfer onto a substrate using high temperatures and pressures for a specific duration, embedding the transfer permanently.
- Clothing (Fabric with Sublimation Paper): Approximately 180°C (356°F) for 30-50 seconds.
- Clothing (100% Cotton with Transfer Paper): Approximately 180°C (356°F) for 15-20 seconds.
- Other Small Materials (Stickers, Labels): Start with lower temperatures and shorter times, gradually increasing as needed.
4.3 Heat Pressing Process
- Prepare your item (e.g., T-shirt, hat, label) and the transfer design.
- Place the item on the lower platen, ensuring it is flat and smooth.
- Position the transfer design onto the item. You may use heat-resistant tape to secure it.
- Lower the heating platen using the pressure handle until it firmly presses the item.
- The timer will start automatically. Once the set time elapses, an alarm will sound.
- Lift the pressure handle to release the heating platen.
- Carefully remove the transfer paper (follow transfer paper instructions for hot or cold peel).
- Remove the finished item and allow it to cool.

5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Ensure the machine is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning. Wipe the heating platen with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the machine in a dry, dust-free environment when not in use.
- Regular Checks: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they are secure.
6. Troubleshooting
- Machine Not Powering On: Check if the power cord is securely plugged into both the machine and the outlet. Ensure the power switch is in the 'ON' position. Verify the outlet is functional.
- Uneven Heating: Ensure the heating platen is clean and free from debris. Verify that the item being pressed is laid flat and evenly distributed on the lower platen.
- Transfer Not Adhering Properly: Adjust temperature and time settings. Ensure sufficient pressure is applied. Check the specific requirements of your transfer paper and material.
- Overheating/Error Codes: If the machine displays an error code or appears to be overheating, immediately turn off the power and unplug the unit. Refer to the original manual for specific error code meanings or contact customer support.
