1. Introduction

This manual provides essential instructions for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your Eizo ColorEdge CG319X 31.1-inch 4K IPS LED monitor. 2. Setup

2.1 Unpacking and Assembly

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure the monitor, stand, power cable, and signal cables (DisplayPort, HDMI) are present.

  1. Attach the stand base to the stand column, securing it with the provided screws.
  2. Mount the monitor panel onto the assembled stand. Ensure it clicks securely into place.
  3. Position the monitor on a stable, flat surface.

2.2 Connecting the Monitor

The CG319X monitor supports DisplayPort and HDMI inputs.

  1. Connect one end of the appropriate signal cable (DisplayPort or HDMI) to the corresponding port on your computer's graphics card.
  2. Connect the other end of the signal cable to the DisplayPort or HDMI input on the rear of the monitor.
  3. Connect the power cable to the monitor's power input and then to a grounded electrical outlet.
  4. For USB functionality, connect a USB upstream cable from your computer to the monitor's USB upstream port.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Powering On/Off

Press the power button located on the front or bottom bezel of the monitor to turn it on or off. The power indicator light will illuminate when the monitor is active.

3.2 Ergonomic Adjustments

The monitor stand allows for tilt, swivel, and height adjustments to optimize your viewing comfort and reduce strain.

  • Height Adjustment: Gently push or pull the monitor panel up or down.
  • Tilt Adjustment: Tilt the monitor panel forward or backward to find your preferred angle.

3.3 Color Calibration and Management

The ColorEdge CG319X features a built-in calibration sensor and supports hardware calibration for precise color accuracy. Use the included ColorNavigator 6 software for optimal results.

  1. Install the ColorNavigator 6 software on your computer.
  2. Connect the monitor to your computer via USB for communication with the software.
  3. Launch ColorNavigator 6 and follow the on-screen instructions to perform a hardware calibration. The built-in sensor will swing down and perform the calibration automatically.
  4. Regular calibration ensures consistent color reproduction over time.

3.4 DCI 4K Resolution

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning the Monitor

To maintain optimal display quality, clean the monitor screen and casing regularly.

  • Screen: Gently wipe the screen with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a non-abrasive, ammonia-free screen cleaner. Do not spray cleaner directly onto the screen.
  • Casing: Wipe the monitor casing with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Important: Always unplug the monitor from the power outlet before cleaning. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents.
