Important Safety Information
- Always turn off and unplug your air purifier before attempting to replace filters.
- Remove all plastic packaging from the new filters before installation. Failure to do so can restrict airflow and damage the unit.
- This filter pack is designed exclusively for the Honeywell HPA720C (HPA720 series) Air Purifier. It DOES NOT fit HPA710C (HPA710 series) Air Purifiers. Using incorrect filters may impair performance or damage your unit.
- Keep replacement filters out of reach of children and pets.
Product Components
The Honeywell HRF-LQ720C filter kit includes the following components:
- True HEPA Filter (Type Q): This filter is engineered to capture up to 99.97% of microscopic airborne allergens and particles as small as 0.3 microns, including pollen, pet dander, dust mite debris, and smoke.
- Granulated Carbon Pre-Filter (Type L): This pre-filter is designed to capture larger airborne particles and effectively reduce volatile organic compounds (VOCs), odors, and formaldehyde from the air.

Installation Instructions
Follow these steps to replace the filters in your Honeywell HPA720C Air Purifier:
- Ensure the air purifier is turned OFF and UNPLUGGED from the power outlet.
- Remove the front grille from the air purifier. For models in the HPA720C series, press on the two symbols and lift the grille up and out of the base of the unit.
- Remove the used filters. Carefully pull the Honeywell red tabs on the filter frame to remove the old filters.
- Unwrap the new filters from their protective plastic packaging.
- Insert the new Granulated Carbon Pre-Filter (Type L) first, followed by the True HEPA Filter (Type Q). Ensure the arrows on the filter frames match the airflow direction indicated on the unit.
- Replace the front grille by placing the tabs on the bottom of the grille into the slots on the unit and gently push the top of the grille back into place until it clicks securely.
- Plug the air purifier back in and turn it ON.
- To reset the 'Check Filter' light, press and hold the 'Filter Reset' button for approximately 2 seconds until the light turns off. The HEPA filter indicator light will blink twice to indicate the timer has been reset and will then turn off.
