1. Introduction

The Tenda PH10 Kit Powerline WiFi AV1000 is designed to extend your home network using your existing electrical wiring. With HomePlug AV2 technology, it provides high-speed wired and wireless connectivity throughout your home, eliminating Wi-Fi dead zones.

2. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your Tenda PH10 Kit:

1. Connect the P3 Adapter:
   • Plug the smaller P3 Powerline adapter directly into a wall socket near your modem/router.
   • Connect the P3 adapter to your modem/router using an Ethernet cable.
2. Connect the PA7 Adapter:
   • Plug the larger PA7 Powerline WiFi extender directly into a wall socket in the area where you want to extend Wi-Fi coverage.
   • Wait for the Powerline LED indicator on both adapters to turn solid green, indicating a successful connection.
3. Wi-Fi Clone (Optional):

   To synchronize the Wi-Fi name and password with your existing router:

   • Press the Wi-Fi button on the PA7 adapter. The Wi-Fi LED will start blinking.
   • Within two minutes, press the WPS button on your wireless router.
   • The Wi-Fi LED on the PA7 will turn solid green, indicating successful cloning. Your PA7 will now broadcast Wi-Fi with the same name and password as your router.
4. Manual Wi-Fi Configuration (If Wi-Fi Clone Fails):
   • Connect to the PA7's default Wi-Fi network (SSID and password are on the device label).
   • Open a web browser and navigate to http://plc.tendawifi.com.
   • Log in with the default password (usually "admin").
   • Go to the "Wi-Fi" section and manually change the SSID and password to match your main router's network.
   • Save the settings. The PA7 will restart, and you can then connect to your cloned network.

Important Considerations:

• Both Powerline adapters must be connected to wall sockets on the same electrical circuit to function correctly.
• Avoid plugging the adapters into power strips, surge protectors, or extension cords, as this can significantly reduce performance or prevent connection.

• Direct Wall Connection: Always plug the Powerline adapters directly into a wall outlet. Avoid using power strips, extension cords, or surge protectors, as these can interfere with the Powerline signal and reduce performance.
• Ventilation: Ensure the adapters are placed in well-ventilated areas to prevent overheating. Do not cover them or place them in enclosed spaces.
• Cleaning: Clean the devices with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners.

1. No Power LED:

2. Powerline LED is Off or Blinking:
   • Ensure both P3 and PA7 adapters are plugged into wall sockets on the same electrical circuit.

   • Try moving the PA7 adapter to a different wall socket to find a better electrical path.
   • For Wi-Fi, ensure your device is connecting to the appropriate band (5GHz for speed, 2.4GHz for range).
5. Wi-Fi Clone Feature Not Working:
   • Ensure your router's WPS function is enabled and working correctly.
   • Repeat the Wi-Fi Clone steps, ensuring you press the buttons within the specified time frame.
   • If the issue persists, use the manual Wi-Fi configuration method described in Section 2.
