3. Setup

Unpacking

  • Remove all packing materials from inside the oven cavity and from the oven door.
  • Check the oven for any damage, such as dents or a misaligned door. Do not operate the oven if it is damaged.

Placement

  • Place the microwave on a flat, stable surface that can support its weight and the heaviest food item likely to be cooked in it.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation by leaving at least 4 inches (10 cm) of space around the top, back, and sides of the oven. Do not block any ventilation openings.
  • Keep the microwave away from heat sources and strong magnetic fields.

Electrical Connection

  • Plug the microwave into a standard 120V, 60Hz AC outlet.
  • Ensure the outlet is properly grounded and capable of handling the microwave's power requirements (800 Watts).
  • Do not use extension cords or adapters.

Turntable Installation

  • Place the turntable ring securely in the center of the oven cavity.
  • Carefully place the glass turntable on top of the ring, ensuring it sits properly in the center support.

4. Operation

Setting the Clock

  1. Press the CLOCK button once.
  2. Use the numeric keypad to enter the current time (e.g., 1-2-3-0 for 12:30).
  3. Press the CLOCK button again to confirm.

Microwave Cooking

  1. Place food in a microwave-safe container on the glass turntable. Close the door.
  2. Enter the desired cooking time using the numeric keypad.
  3. Press the POWER LEVEL button repeatedly to select the desired power level (P10 is 100%, P1 is 10%).
  4. Press the START/+30 SEC button to begin cooking.

Quick Start Cooking

For quick cooking at 100% power, simply press the START/+30 SEC button. Each press adds 30 seconds to the cooking time, up to a maximum of 99 minutes and 99 seconds.

Defrosting

Your microwave offers two defrost options: DEFROST BY WEIGHT and DEFROST BY TIME.

Defrost by Weight:

  1. Press the WEIGHT DEFROST button.
  2. Enter the food weight using the numeric keypad (e.g., 1.0 for 1 lb). The maximum weight is 6 lbs.
  3. Press the START/+30 SEC button.

Defrost by Time:

  1. Press the TIME DEFROST button.
  2. Enter the desired defrosting time using the numeric keypad.
  3. Press the START/+30 SEC button.

Preset Menus

The microwave includes 9 convenient preset cooking programs for common food items:

  • POPCORN: For various popcorn bag sizes.
  • POTATO: For baking potatoes.
  • PIZZA: For reheating pizza slices.
  • BEVERAGE: For heating drinks.
  • DINNER PLATE: For reheating a full dinner plate.

  • REHEAT: General reheating.

To use a preset menu, press the corresponding button, then adjust the quantity if prompted, and press START/+30 SEC.

Child Lock Function

To activate the child lock, press and hold the STOP/CANCEL button for 3 seconds. The display will show "LOCK". To deactivate, press and hold the STOP/CANCEL button again for 3 seconds.
