Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your floor lamp:

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Place them on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
2. Assemble Lamp Pole: Begin by screwing the lowest lamp pole section into the lamp base. Ensure the power cord is gently pulled through the base as you assemble each section to prevent twisting or damage. Continue screwing the remaining pole sections together in sequence until the full pole is assembled.
3. Attach Reading Light Arm: Secure the reading light arm to the designated point on the lamp pole.
4. Install Shades: Carefully place the main light marble glass shade onto the top socket. Secure it with the provided socket nut. Repeat for the reading light shade.
5. Insert Bulbs: Insert the appropriate bulbs into both sockets. The main light requires 1 x 100W equivalent 3-way Type A medium base bulb (not included). The reading light requires 1 x 60W equivalent Type A medium base bulb (not included).
6. Connect to Power: Once fully assembled and bulbs are installed, plug the lamp into a suitable electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

The Elegant Designs LF2003 Floor Lamp features two independent lights for versatile illumination.

• Main Light (Uplight): The top light is controlled by a rotary switch located on the lamp pole. Turn the switch clockwise to cycle through the 3-way lighting options (low, medium, high) or to turn the light off.
• Reading Light (Adjustable): The lower reading light is controlled by a separate rotary switch on its shade. Turn this switch clockwise to turn the reading light on or off. The flexible arm allows you to adjust the direction of the light.

Maintenance

Proper care will ensure the longevity of your lamp.

• Cleaning: Always unplug the lamp before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the lamp pole and base. For the glass shades, use a mild glass cleaner and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Bulb Replacement: Ensure the lamp is unplugged and the bulbs have cooled before attempting to replace them. Unscrew the old bulb and screw in a new one of the correct type and wattage (Main light: 1 x 100W equivalent 3-way Type A medium base; Reading light: 1 x 60W equivalent Type A medium base).
