- Always handle glass panels with care. Tempered glass is strong but can shatter if struck at the edges.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and gloves during installation.
- Ensure the mounting surface (wall) is structurally sound and capable of supporting the weight of the shower screen.
- Use only the provided mounting hardware or suitable alternatives recommended by the manufacturer.
- Do not overtighten screws, as this can damage the glass or frame.
- Keep children and pets away from the installation area.
- If you are unsure about any step of the installation, consult a qualified professional.
3. Package Contents
Verify that all components are present and undamaged before beginning installation. If any parts are missing or damaged, contact Schulte customer service.

4.1 Tools Required (Not Included)
- Drill
- Drill bits (appropriate for wall material)
- Spirit level
- Measuring tape
- Pencil
- Screwdriver
- Silicone sealant (bathroom grade)
4.2 Installation Steps
- Prepare the Area: Ensure the bathtub and surrounding wall area are clean and dry.
- Position the Wall Profile: Place the wall profile against the wall at the desired height and position. Use a spirit level to ensure it is perfectly vertical. Mark the drilling points.
- Drill Holes: Drill holes at the marked points. Insert wall plugs into the drilled holes.
- Attach Wall Profile: Secure the wall profile to the wall using the provided screws.
- Mount the Glass Panel: Carefully insert the glass panel into the wall profile. Ensure the hinges are correctly aligned for 180° folding. The screen can be mounted to open to the left or right.
- Secure Glass Panel: Secure the glass panel within the wall profile according to the detailed instructions in the included manual.
- Install Seals: Attach the bottom seal strip to the lower edge of the glass panel to prevent water leakage. Apply silicone sealant along the exterior joint between the wall profile and the wall for a watertight seal. Allow sealant to cure completely before use.

5. Operating Instructions
The Schulte Bathtub Shower Screen is designed for simple and flexible use.
- Opening/Closing: Gently push or pull the glass panel to open or close it. The panel pivots smoothly.
- Folding: For maximum space when not showering, the single panel can be folded 180° flat against the adjacent wall. This allows for easy access to the bathtub and maximizes bathroom space.
- Water Containment: Ensure the screen is fully closed and the bottom seal is properly seated against the bathtub edge during showering to prevent water from splashing out.
6. Maintenance
Regular cleaning and proper care will ensure the longevity and appearance of your shower screen.
- Daily Cleaning: After each use, rinse the glass panel with clean water and wipe it dry with a soft cloth or squeegee to prevent water spots and soap scum buildup.
- Regular Cleaning: For more thorough cleaning, use a mild, non-abrasive glass cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive sponges, or scouring powders, as these can damage the anti-limescale coating and chrome finish.
- Anti-Limescale Treatment: The glass features an anti-limescale treatment (Fixil Glass Seal) which reduces water and dirt adhesion, making cleaning easier. Do not use products that could strip this coating.
- Seal Maintenance: Periodically check the bottom seal strip for wear or damage. Replace if necessary to maintain water tightness.
- Hinge Maintenance: The hinges are designed for durability. If they become stiff, a small amount of silicone-based lubricant can be applied, ensuring it does not come into contact with the glass surface.

7. Troubleshooting
- Water Leakage:
- Check if the bottom seal strip is properly installed and undamaged.
- Ensure the silicone sealant along the wall profile is intact and watertight. Reapply if necessary.
- Verify that the screen is fully closed during showering.
- Difficulty Folding/Pivoting:
- Check for any obstructions around the hinges or the bottom edge of the glass.
- Ensure hinges are clean and free of debris. A small amount of silicone lubricant may help.
- Glass Appears Cloudy/Streaky:
- Use a dedicated glass cleaner and a soft cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners.
- Ensure the glass is dried thoroughly after each use to prevent mineral deposits.
