Maintenance
Filter Replacement
The LV-PUR131S uses a 3-stage filtration system: a Pre-filter, an Efficient Filter, and an Efficient Activated Carbon Filter. Filters should be replaced regularly to maintain optimal performance. The VeSync app can track filter life and notify you when replacement is needed.

To replace filters:
- Turn off and unplug the air purifier.
- Open the back cover of the unit.
- Remove the old filters.
- Insert new filters, ensuring they are correctly oriented.
- Close the back cover.
- Plug in and turn on the air purifier. Reset the filter indicator light by pressing the appropriate button (refer to the 'Resetting Check Filter Indicator' section on the unit's label).
Replacement filters can be purchased by searching for model LV-PUR131-RF or B06XDM7LT7.
Cleaning the Dust Sensor Lens
Clean the dust sensor lens every 2 months to ensure accurate air quality readings.
- Turn off and unplug the air purifier.
- Open the dust sensor cover (located on the back of the unit).
- Use a cotton swab, dipped in clean water, to clean the lens.
- Dry the lens with another clean cotton swab.
- Close the dust sensor cover.
Troubleshooting
- Air Purifier Not Turning On: Ensure the unit is properly plugged into a working outlet and the back cover is securely closed.
- Poor Air Quality Reading (Red Light): This indicates high levels of airborne pollutants. Increase fan speed or allow Auto Mode to adjust. Ensure filters are clean and properly installed.
- Noisy Operation: Check if the unit is on a stable surface. If operating at high speed, this is normal. For quieter operation, select Sleep Mode or a lower fan speed.
- Connectivity Issues with VeSync App: Verify your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. Ensure the air purifier is within range of your router. Try restarting both the air purifier and your router.
- Filter Indicator Light Remains On After Replacement: You need to manually reset the filter indicator. Refer to the 'Resetting Check Filter Indicator' instructions on the unit's label (usually involves pressing a small button inside a vent with a sturdy object).
- Interference with Humidifiers: Some humidifiers may cause the air quality sensor to read 'bad' due to increased humidity. It is recommended to place air purifiers and humidifiers in separate areas or use them at different times if this occurs.
