Setup Guide
- Plug In: Insert the Roav Viva Pro into your vehicle's 12V power outlet (cigarette lighter socket). The LED ring indicator will illuminate.
- Download App: Download the "Roav Viva" app from your smartphone's app store (available for iOS and Android).
- Initial Pairing: Open the Roav Viva app. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone. Do not pair the Roav Viva Pro directly through your smartphone's Bluetooth settings initially. The app will guide you through the pairing process. Select "Roav VIVA Pro XXXX" from the accessory list within the app.
- Configure Audio Output: Within the app, select your preferred audio output method:
- Bluetooth: If your car stereo supports Bluetooth audio, connect the Viva Pro to your car's Bluetooth.
- AUX-Out: Connect an AUX cable from the Viva Pro to your car's AUX input.
- FM Transmission: Select an unused FM frequency in the app and tune your car radio to the same frequency.
- Alexa Setup: Follow the in-app instructions to link your Amazon account and enable Alexa services.

Some car models may experience compatibility issues. Please refer to the troubleshooting section or check the product support page for a detailed list of known incompatible vehicles. Operating Instructions
Alexa Voice Control
The Roav Viva Pro integrates Amazon Alexa directly into your car. Simply say "Alexa" followed by your command. The device features two integrated microphones for accurate voice recognition, even in noisy environments.

Key Alexa Functions:
- Navigation: Ask for directions to a specific address or point of interest. Alexa will open compatible navigation apps like Google Maps or Waze.
- Music Streaming: Play music from supported services such as Amazon Music, Pandora, iHeartRadio, or TuneIn. Note: Spotify is not currently supported.
- Communication: Make calls or send messages using voice commands.
- Information: Get weather updates, news briefings, sports scores, and more.
- Smart Home Control: Control compatible smart home devices from your car.
Voice-Activated Navigation
Utilize Alexa to get turn-by-turn directions hands-free. Simply state your destination, and Alexa will initiate navigation through your preferred mapping application.

Maintenance
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Roav Viva Pro, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid extreme temperatures.
- Handling: Handle the device with care. Avoid dropping it or exposing it to excessive force.
Troubleshooting
- Device not powering on:
- Ensure the device is securely plugged into a functional 12V power outlet. Check your vehicle's fuse for the power outlet.
- Cannot connect via Bluetooth:
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
- Delete the "Roav VIVA Pro" entry from your phone's Bluetooth device list (if previously paired).
- Restart the Roav Viva app and follow the in-app pairing instructions. Do not attempt to pair directly from your phone's Bluetooth settings before using the app.
- Restart your smartphone and the Roav Viva Pro (unplug and replug).
- Alexa is not responding or hearing commands:
- Ensure the device is powered on and connected to your smartphone with an active internet connection.
- Check if the microphone on the device is obstructed.
- Speak clearly and directly towards the device.
- Reduce background noise in the vehicle if possible.
- Verify your Amazon account is correctly linked in the Roav Viva app.
- Poor audio quality via FM transmission:
- Try selecting a different FM frequency in the Roav Viva app. Choose a frequency that is not used by any local radio stations.
- Ensure your car radio is tuned precisely to the selected FM frequency.
- Interference can occur in certain areas; try adjusting the frequency as you drive.
- Spotify is not supported:
- As stated, Spotify is not currently supported by the Roav Viva Pro. Please use Amazon Music, Pandora, iHeartRadio, or TuneIn.
