Setup and Connections
Before powering on the mixer, ensure all connections are made correctly.

- Power Connection: Connect the supplied power cable to the mixer's power input on the rear panel and then to a suitable AC outlet (100V-240V ~). Do not power on yet.
- Microphone/Line Inputs:
- For microphones, use XLR cables and connect to the XLR inputs (channels 1-12).
- For line-level instruments or devices, use 1/4" jack cables and connect to the LINE inputs (channels 1-12) or stereo channels (13/14, 15/16).
- Main Outputs: Connect your main speakers or amplifier to the balanced XLR MAIN MIX outputs.
- Auxiliary Outputs: Use the 1/4" jack AUX SEND outputs to connect to external effects processors or monitor speakers.
- Control Room/Headphones: Connect control room monitors to the CONTROL ROOM jack outputs and headphones to the HEADPHONE jack.
- USB/SD Media: Insert a USB drive or SD card into the respective slots for playback or recording.
- Power On: Once all connections are secure, switch on the mixer's power.
Operating Instructions
Channel Controls (Mono Channels 1-12):
- GAIN: Adjusts the input sensitivity for the microphone or line input. Set this to achieve a healthy signal level without clipping.
- COMP: Controls the amount of compression applied to the input signal.
- EQ (HI, MID, LO): 3-band equalizer for shaping the tone of the channel.
- AUX1/AUX2: Sends the channel signal to the respective auxiliary outputs for monitors or external effects.
- FX: Sends the channel signal to the internal DSP effects processor.
- PAN: Positions the channel signal in the stereo field (left to right).
- MUTE: Silences the channel.
- PFL: Pre-Fader Listen. Routes the channel signal to the headphones/control room output for monitoring before the fader.
- LEVEL FADER: Adjusts the output level of the channel to the main mix.
Stereo Channels (13/14, 15/16):
- Similar controls to mono channels, but with 2-band EQ (HI, LO) and stereo input jacks.
DSP Effects:
- The mixer includes 16 DSP effects. Use the PROGRAM knob to select an effect.
- Adjust the FX LEVEL knob to control the overall level of the effects return to the main mix.
- A footswitch socket is available for remote control of DSP effects.
USB/SD Media Player:
- Insert a USB drive or SD card. The display will show media information.
- Use the transport controls (Play/Pause, Stop, Skip) to manage audio playback.
- The media player also supports mono recording to USB or SD card (128kbps).
Bluetooth Connectivity:
- Activate Bluetooth on your external device.
- Select the mixer (e.g., "CLUB XS16+") from the list of available devices to pair.
- Once paired, audio from your device will stream through the mixer.
Main Mix Section:
- MAIN MIX FADERS: Control the overall output level of the left and right main mix.
- LEVEL METERS: Provide visual indication of the main mix output level. Aim for levels around 0dB to avoid clipping.
Maintenance and Care
- Cleaning: Disconnect power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface of the mixer. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
- Dust: Regularly remove dust from the ventilation grilles to maintain proper cooling.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the mixer in a dry, dust-free environment.
- Transport: When transporting the mixer, use appropriate protective casing to prevent damage.
