- Adjusting Grind Size: The Eureka Mignon Specialita features a stepless micrometric adjustment system, allowing for infinite grind settings. - Continuous Mode: Press the continuous mode icon for manual grinding. The grinder will operate as long as the button is pressed or the portafilter activates the switch.
- Lock Function: The touchscreen can be locked to prevent accidental changes to settings. Refer to the on-screen instructions for activation.
- Grinding Process: Place your portafilter onto the adjustable hands-free fork. The grinder will start automatically when the portafilter activates the switch, or manually if continuous mode is selected. The display will count down the set grinding time.

5. Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your grinder.
- Cleaning Burrs: The bottom burr adjustment design facilitates easier cleaning. Unplug the grinder. Remove the hopper and top burr. Use a brush or vacuum to remove any accumulated coffee grounds from the burrs and grinding chamber.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the grinder with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
- Hopper Cleaning: The bean hopper can be removed and washed with mild soap and water. Ensure it is completely dry before reattaching.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Eureka Mignon Specialita grinder, please refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:
- Grinder not turning on: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet and the main power switch (located on the side/back) is in the 'ON' position.
- No coffee grinding: Check if the hopper is properly seated and if there are beans in the hopper. Ensure the grind adjustment knob is not set too fine, which can choke the burrs.
- Inconsistent grind: Clean the burrs thoroughly to remove any old coffee residue that might be affecting consistency. Adjust the grind setting incrementally.
- Excessive noise: While the Mignon Specialita is sound-insulated, unusual or excessive noise may indicate an issue. Check for foreign objects in the grinding chamber or contact support.
