3. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to safely set up your Remington LP Forced Air Heater.
- Unpack: Carefully remove the heater and all components from the packaging. Verify all parts are present: heater unit, 10-foot LP cylinder hose, and regulator.
- Positioning: Place the heater on a firm, level surface in a well-ventilated area. Ensure adequate clearance from walls, ceilings, and combustible materials as specified in the safety section.
- Connect Propane Tank:
- Ensure the heater's control knob is in the "OFF" position.
- Connect the regulator end of the hose to a standard 20-pound (or larger) liquid propane tank (not included). Turn the connection counter-clockwise to tighten. Ensure a secure, leak-free connection.
- Connect the other end of the hose to the propane inlet on the heater.
- Leak Test: After connecting the propane tank, open the tank valve slowly. Apply a soap and water solution to all connections. If bubbles appear, there is a leak. Close the tank valve immediately and re-tighten connections. Repeat the test. Do not operate the heater if a leak is detected.
- Electrical Connection: Plug the heater's power cord into a grounded 120V AC electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions
Once the heater is properly set up and connected, follow these steps to operate it.
- Open Propane Valve: Slowly open the valve on the propane tank fully.
- Start Heater: Turn the control knob on the heater to the desired heat setting (e.g., '1' for low, '2' for medium, '3' for high). The electronic ignition will automatically attempt to light the burner.
- Verify Ignition: Confirm that the burner has ignited and a flame is present. If the heater does not ignite within 15 seconds, turn the control knob to 'OFF', wait 5 minutes, and repeat the ignition process.
- Adjust Heat: Use the variable heat settings on the control knob to adjust the heat output as needed.
- Adjust Angle: The heater's angle can be adjusted to direct heat where it is most needed.

To Shut Down:
- Turn the control knob on the heater to the "OFF" position.
- Close the valve on the propane tank.
- Unplug the heater from the electrical outlet.
- Allow the heater to cool completely before moving or storing.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your heater.
- Cleaning: Ensure the heater is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning. Wipe the exterior surfaces with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the propane hose and connections for signs of wear, damage, or leaks. Replace any damaged components immediately.
- Storage: When not in use, store the heater in a dry, safe place, away from children and pets. Disconnect the propane tank and store it separately in a well-ventilated area.
6. Troubleshooting
