1. Introduction and Product Overview
1.1 Product Compatibility
This remote start kit is designed for specific vehicle configurations. Please verify your vehicle meets the following requirements:
- Vehicle Model: Honda Accord 2003-2007
- Transmission Type: Automatic Transmission ONLY
- Ignition Type: Key-Start Ignition ONLY (Does NOT work in Push-To-Start Vehicles)
- Engine Type: Gas Engine Only (NOT for Hybrid vehicles)

1.2 What's Included
The MPC Complete 1-Button Remote Start Kit includes all necessary components for installation and operation:
- Remote starter module
- Immobilizer bypass module
- (2) Ultra-compact 1-button remotes
- Firmware preloaded for your specific vehicle
- All required wiring harnesses and connectors

2. Setup and Installation
2.1 Installation Requirements
Installation of this remote start kit requires basic knowledge of automotive electronics and wiring. While the included data module simplifies many connections, some direct wiring connections are necessary. This is not a plug-and-play system.
Recommended tools for installation include:
- Wire stripper/crimper
- Butt connectors (marine heat shrink type recommended for durability)
- Electrical tape or heat shrink tubing
- Multimeter for testing circuits
- Trim removal tools to prevent damage to vehicle interior panels

2.2 Wiring Connections
The kit includes concise directions with specific wire colors and locations for your Honda Accord 2003-2007. Follow these instructions carefully. Many wires in the harness may not be used for your specific vehicle; focus only on the connections specified in the provided guide.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Remote Control Features
The system includes two ultra-compact 1-button remotes with an operating range of up to 1500 feet. Key features include:
- Remote Engine Start: Start your vehicle's engine from a distance.
- Optional Unlock Feature: Allows unlocking the vehicle once the engine is running, useful if the OEM remote becomes inactive.
- Programmable Auto-Start: Options for 2, 3, or 4 hourly automatic starts.
- Programmable Run Time: Options for 5, 10, 20, or 30-minute engine run times.

3.2 Using the Remote Start
To activate the remote start function, press and hold the single button on the remote control for approximately 3 seconds. The vehicle's parking lights will flash, and the engine will start. To turn off the engine remotely, press and hold the button again for 3 seconds.
4. Maintenance
The MPC remote start system is designed for reliable operation with minimal maintenance. To ensure longevity:
- Keep remote controls dry and away from extreme temperatures.
- Replace remote control batteries as needed (typically when range decreases).
- Avoid exposing the main module to moisture or excessive vibration.
- Periodically check wiring connections for security, especially after significant vehicle maintenance.
5. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your remote start system, consider the following common troubleshooting steps:
- System Not Responding: Check remote control battery. Ensure you are within the operating range.
- Engine Fails to Start: Verify all vehicle doors, hood, and trunk are closed. Ensure the vehicle's battery is charged. Confirm the vehicle is in Park (automatic transmission).
- Reduced Range: Replace remote control battery. Ensure no major obstructions between the remote and the vehicle.
- Intermittent Operation: Check all wiring connections for looseness or corrosion.

7. Warranty Information
MPC remote starters and alarms carry a limited lifetime warranty through the manufacturer. Physical damage or damage resulting from improper installation will void the manufacturer's warranty.
- First Year: Contact MPC for warranty issues. The product must be returned at the customer's expense for warranty service.
- After First Year: Warranty issues must be handled directly through the manufacturer. A receipt from the original purchase will be required.
The product is warranted to the original purchaser, when properly installed and under normal conditions of use, to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one year from the date of purchase.
