- Use high-quality speaker wire to connect the speaker's binding posts to the corresponding speaker outputs on your amplifier/receiver.

Maintenance
To keep your Klipsch R-820F speakers in excellent condition and ensure long-lasting performance:
- Cleaning: Use a dry, soft cloth to clean the speaker cabinet and grilles. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Dust Removal: Gently vacuum the grilles to remove dust buildup.
- Placement: Avoid placing speakers in direct sunlight or near heat sources, as this can damage the finish and internal components.
- Protection: Keep the grilles attached to protect the drivers from dust and accidental damage. The grilles are magnetic and easily removable if you prefer the exposed driver aesthetic.

Troubleshooting
If you experience issues with your Klipsch R-820F speakers, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

| Distorted sound | Overdriven amplifier, damaged speaker wire, faulty audio source. | Reduce volume. Inspect speaker wires for damage. Test with a different audio source. |
| Weak bass | Incorrect speaker placement, phase issues, room acoustics. | Adjust speaker placement (e.g., closer to walls if needed, but avoid corner loading). Check speaker phase (positive/negative connections). Consider room acoustic treatments. |
