Setup

1. Install Batteries in Push Button

1. Open the push button casing.
2. Insert the required alkaline batteries (typically 12V A23, check the push button for specific type) according to the polarity markings.
3. Close the casing securely.

2. Power the Chime Unit

• Plug the Notifi Alert chime unit into any standard 120V AC wall socket.
• The unit will power on and be ready for pairing.

3. Pair Push Button with Chime Unit

Your push button and chime unit are typically pre-paired from the factory. If they are not, or if you are adding additional Heath Zenith wireless accessories:

1. Refer to the specific pairing instructions provided with your Heath Zenith wireless accessory.
2. Generally, this involves pressing a pairing button on the chime unit and then activating the accessory (e.g., pressing the push button).

4. Connect to Wi-Fi for Smartphone Notifications

To receive alerts on your smartphone, the Notifi Alert chime unit must be connected to your home Wi-Fi network.

1. Download the "Notifi" app from your smartphone's app store (available for iOS and Android).
2. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to create an account and add your Notifi Alert device.
3. The app will guide you through connecting the chime unit to your Wi-Fi network. Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz compatible.
4. Once connected, you will receive notifications on your smartphone when the doorbell is pressed or other paired sensors are triggered.

Operating Instructions

Selecting Chime Tunes

The Notifi Alert offers 11 selectable tunes. To change the tune:

• Locate the tune selection button on the chime unit.
• Press the button repeatedly to cycle through the available tunes. The chime will play a preview of each tune.
• The available tunes include: Ding-Dong, Short Westminster, Westminster, Whittington, End, Short End, Relax, Birthday Celebration, Auld Lang Syne, We Wish You a Merry Christmas, and Beethoven's 5th.
• Stop pressing the button when you hear your desired tune.

Adjusting Volume

The chime unit features adjustable volume control.

• Locate the volume control button or dial on the chime unit.
• Adjust the volume to your preferred level.

Muting the Chime

The programmable muting feature allows you to silence the chime temporarily.

• Refer to the Notifi app or the chime unit's specific controls for muting options.
• This feature is useful for quiet periods or when you only wish to receive smartphone notifications.

Maintenance

Cleaning

To clean the chime unit or push button, wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the unit is unplugged before cleaning.

Battery Replacement (Push Button)

When the push button's signal weakens or stops working, it may be time to replace its battery.

1. Open the push button casing.
2. Remove the old battery and dispose of it properly according to local regulations.
