Setup
Power Requirements
The cooktop operates on 120 Volts and has a wattage of 1800 watts. Ensure you have a compatible 3-prong outlet available for safe operation.
Cookware Compatibility
Induction stoves rely on cookware to heat, so it’s essential to choose magnetic bottom cookware with a minimum diameter of 5 inches. The cooktop will not operate without compatible cookware. Compatible materials include cast iron and magnetic stainless steel.

Figure 2: Understanding Induction: Compatible cookware is essential for the cooktop to generate heat through a magnetic field.
Placement
Place the cooktop on a stable, flat countertop. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. For added protection of your countertop, especially wooden surfaces, consider using a silicone heat-resistant mat underneath the cooktop.
Operating Instructions
Controls and Display
The cooktop features a sensor touch control panel and an LCD readout display for each heating zone. Each zone has independent controls for power, temperature, timer, and a child safety lock.

Cooking Modes
There are 20 preset levels per mode, allowing you to select the perfect setting for your cooking task:
- Temperature Mode: Recommended for precise cooking tasks such as frying, steaming, and sauteing.
- Power Mode: Ideal for rapid heating, such as bringing water to a boil quickly, or for keeping food warm.

Child Safety Lock & Timer
Each burner has a dedicated lock button to prevent accidental changes to settings or activation. The timer function allows you to set a specific cooking duration, after which the cooktop will automatically turn off. A 'Keep Warm' function is also available to maintain food temperature at a low setting.
Power Sharing Feature
When operating only one burner, the maximum power of the left burner is 1800W and the right is 1000W. When operating both burners simultaneously, increasing the power level of one burner will cause the other burner to self-adjust and decrease if needed, in order to not exceed 1800W total.

Maintenance
Cleaning the Cooktop
The cooktop features a premium glass surface that is easy to clean. With no open flame or heating element, food does not burn onto the glass, making cleanup simple. Always ensure the unit is unplugged and cool before cleaning. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
Fan Maintenance
The cooktop includes internal fans for heat dissipation. Periodically check the fan vents located on the underside of the unit for any lint or debris buildup. Gently clean these areas to ensure proper airflow and prevent overheating.
Troubleshooting
Error Messages
If the cooktop displays an error message, especially related to cookware, ensure that a compatible magnetic pot or pan is correctly placed on the heating zone. The unit is designed not to heat without proper cookware detected, which is a safety feature.
Cooktop Noise
It is normal for the cooktop to produce some noise, primarily from the internal cooling fans, especially when operating at higher power settings. This is part of its normal function to prevent overheating.
Boiling Water Speed
While induction cooktops are generally very fast at boiling water, the speed can vary depending on the amount of water, the type and size of cookware, and the initial water temperature. Ensure you are using the Power Mode for the quickest boiling results.
