2. Safety Information

Please read and understand all instructions before beginning installation. Failure to follow these instructions may result in property damage or personal injury.

3. Package Contents

Verify that all components are present before beginning installation.

4. Installation

Follow these steps for a successful wall-mounted installation.

  1. Prepare the Area: Turn off the main water supply to your shower. Remove any existing shower head by unscrewing it counter-clockwise from the shower arm. Clean any debris or old sealant from the shower arm threads.
  2. Apply Thread Seal Tape: Wrap plumber's tape (Teflon tape) clockwise around the threads of the shower arm 3-4 times. This helps create a watertight seal and prevents leaks.
  3. Attach the Shower Head: Ensure the rubber washer is properly seated inside the shower head's connection point. Screw the new Glacier Bay shower head onto the shower arm threads clockwise. Hand-tighten firmly. Do not use tools, as this can damage the plastic construction.
  4. Check for Leaks: Turn the main water supply back on. Turn on the shower and check for any leaks around the connection point. If leaks occur, turn off the water, re-tighten slightly, or reapply plumber's tape.
