Setup
Follow these steps to connect your DVD player to your television and power source.
1. Connecting to a Television
The Majority Scholars DVD Player offers two primary methods for connecting to your television: HDMI and RCA.

- HDMI Connection (Recommended for HD Quality):
- Ensure both the DVD player and your television are powered off.
- Connect one end of an HDMI cable (not included) to the HDMI OUT port on the back of the DVD player.
- Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to an available HDMI input port on your television.
- Turn on your television and select the corresponding HDMI input source.
- RCA Connection (Standard Definition):
- Ensure both the DVD player and your television are powered off.
- Connect the red, white, and yellow plugs of the supplied RCA audio cable to the corresponding AUDIO OUT (R/L) and VIDEO OUT ports on the back of the DVD player.
- Connect the other end of the RCA cable to the corresponding audio/video input ports on your television.
- Turn on your television and select the corresponding AV input source.
2. Power Connection
- Connect the supplied power cable to the power input on the back of the DVD player.
- Plug the other end of the power cable into a standard wall outlet.
- Press the POWER button on the front panel or the remote control to turn on the device.
3. Remote Control Setup
Insert 2x AAA batteries (not included) into the remote control, ensuring correct polarity.
Operating Instructions
1. Basic Playback

- Power on the DVD player and your television.
- Press the OPEN/CLOSE button on the front panel or remote control to open the disc tray.
- Place a DVD or CD disc gently into the tray with the label side facing up.
- Press the OPEN/CLOSE button again to close the tray.
- The player will automatically begin reading the disc. Playback should start shortly.
- Use the remote control for functions such as PLAY/PAUSE, STOP, SKIP, and VOLUME.
2. USB Playback
The DVD player supports media playback from a USB drive.
- Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port on the front of the DVD player.
- The player should automatically detect the USB drive and display a menu. If not, press the SOURCE or USB button on the remote control.
- Navigate through the files using the arrow keys on the remote and press ENTER to select and play your desired media (MP3, WMA, MPEG-2, etc.).
3. Multi-Region Functionality
This DVD player is designed to play DVDs from all regions (Region 0-6). No special settings are required; simply insert your disc, and the player will adjust automatically.
