4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps carefully to install your Mount-It! No Stud TV Wall Mount. It is recommended to have a second person assist with hanging the TV.

4.1. Mount Wall Plate to Drywall

  1. Position the Wall Mount: Hold the wall mount plate against the desired location on your drywall. Ensure it is at the correct height for your TV.

  3. Nail in One End: While maintaining your hand on the center base of the mount, nail in one end of the wall mount plate. This will temporarily secure it.

  5. Level the Mount: Use a level (not included) to ensure the wall mount plate is perfectly horizontal. Adjust as needed.

  7. Secure Remaining Nails: Once leveled, hammer in the nail on the opposite end of the wall mount. Then, proceed to hammer in all remaining nails along the wall plate. Some nails may require more applied force to fully seat. Ensure all nails are flush with the mount.

    Note: This mount is designed for drywall installation and does not require drilling into studs. It hangs like a picture frame using multiple nails for secure support.

4.2. Attach TV Bracket to Television

  1. Fasten VESA Bracket: Place your TV face down on a soft, clean surface. Attach the horizontal TV bracket to the back of your TV using the appropriate screws from the included hardware kit. This mount fits VESA spacing 100mm, 200mm, 300mm, 400mm, and 600mm.

  3. Select Desired Spacers (for Tilt): If you desire a tilt angle for your TV, attach the appropriate spacers to the lower VESA holes on your TV. The mount includes two sets of spacers: one for a 0-degree tilt (flush with the wall) and another for a -5-degree tilt.

4.3. Hang Television on Wall Mount

  1. Unlatch Spring Lock: Before hanging the TV, pull the cord hanging from the wall mount to unlatch the spring lock mechanism. This prepares the mount to receive the TV bracket.

  3. Hang the TV: With assistance, carefully lift the television and align the TV bracket with the wall mount. Gently lower the TV so the bracket hooks onto the wall mount.

  5. Secure the TV: Once the TV is properly seated on the mount, pull the cord again to re-latch the spring lock. This will securely hold the TV in place.

5. Operating Instructions

Once installed, the Mount-It! No Stud TV Wall Mount offers simple operation for viewing and maintenance.

5.1. Adjusting Tilt Angle

The tilt angle of your television is determined by the spacers used during installation. You can choose between a 0-degree tilt (TV flush with the wall) or a -5-degree tilt (TV angled slightly downwards). To change the tilt, you will need to unmount the TV, replace the spacers on the lower VESA holes, and then remount the TV.

5.2. Quick Release Mechanism

The mount features a spring-loaded quick release mechanism. To temporarily unmount your TV (e.g., for cable access or moving), simply pull the hanging cord to unlatch the spring lock. This allows the TV to be lifted off the wall mount. To re-secure, place the TV back on the mount and pull the cord again to re-latch the spring lock.
