3. Component Identification

- ANT (Antenna): For wireless signal transmission and reception.
- Digital Code (A/B/C): Switch to select one of three digital codes for secure communication.

Follow these steps to set up your Wuloo Wireless Intercom System:
- Power Connection: Connect each intercom unit to a power outlet using the provided adapter and USB cable. Alternatively, you can power the units using a 5V 1A power bank for portability.

- Set Channel and Code (1st Step):
On the back of each unit, select a Digital Code (A, B, or C) using the switch. For initial setup, it is recommended to set all units to the same code (e.g., Code A).
On the front panel, press and hold the desired Channel Number key (0-9) to set its channel. A short press on a channel key will call other intercoms on that channel. We suggest setting all stations with the same code and then clicking other channels to communicate. You do not need to set a new code every time you call a different user.
- Distribute Stations (2nd Step):
After setting a different channel for each user (if desired), distribute the units. For example, Unit A on Code A, Channel 3; Unit B on Code A, Channel 5; Unit C on Code A, Channel 6. Ensure intercoms are placed at least 5 meters (approximately 16 feet) away from each other to avoid interference during setup.
- Begin Communication (3rd Step):
Once each user has been assigned their intercom station, you can initiate calls by simply clicking the channel of the person you wish to communicate with.

5. Operating Instructions

Basic Communication:
- To Call a Specific Unit: Press the Channel Number (0-9) corresponding to the unit you wish to call. The unit will ring. Then, press and hold the TALK button to speak. Release the TALK button to listen.
- To Broadcast to All Units (Group Call): Press the GROUP button. All units set to the same code and channel will receive your message. Press and hold TALK to speak.
- Volume Adjustment: Use the VOL+ and VOL- buttons to increase or decrease the speaker volume.
Advanced Functions:
- VOX (Voice Operated Exchange): Press the VOX button to activate. In VOX mode, the intercom will automatically transmit when it detects sound, allowing for hands-free communication. The other station can reply hands-free. Remember to deactivate VOX when not needed to conserve power and prevent unintended transmissions.
- MONITOR Function: Press the MONITOR button. This unit will now continuously listen to the selected channel. This is useful for monitoring a room (e.g., a child's room). The monitored station cannot transmit back while this unit is in MONITOR mode. Press MONITOR again to exit this mode.

- Confirm the correct channel and digital code are selected on both the calling and receiving units.
- Check if the receiving unit is in MONITOR mode, as it cannot transmit back in this state.
- VOX Not Activating or Activating Unintentionally:
- VOX Sensitivity: The VOX function is voice-activated. Ensure you are speaking clearly and close enough to the microphone.
- Environmental Noise: High background noise can trigger VOX unintentionally. Consider adjusting the unit's placement or using the TALK button for manual control in noisy environments.
