1. Product Overview

The GAMEMAX H605-TA is a compact Micro ATX mid-tower PC case designed for users seeking a space-saving solution without compromising on aesthetics or functionality. It features 4mm tempered glass panels on the front and side, providing a clear view of internal components. The case includes three pre-installed RGB fans with addressable LEDs and a remote control for customizable lighting effects. Its robust 0.6mm chassis supports Micro ATX and ITX motherboards, offering ample space for essential components.

2. Setup and Installation

This section provides instructions for installing your components into the GAMEMAX H605-TA PC case.

2.1 Front I/O Panel Connections

The front I/O panel provides convenient access to essential ports and controls. Connect these cables to the corresponding headers on your motherboard.

  • Power Button: Used to power on/off the system.
  • Reset Button: Used to restart the system.
  • USB 2.0 Ports (x2): For connecting USB 2.0 devices.
  • USB 3.0 Port (x1): For connecting USB 3.0 devices, offering faster data transfer.
  • Mic and HD Audio Interface: For connecting headphones and microphones.

2.2 Motherboard and Power Supply Installation

The H605-TA supports Micro ATX and ITX motherboards. The power supply unit (PSU) is mounted at the bottom of the case.

  1. Remove the side tempered glass panel by unscrewing the four thumb screws.
  2. Install the I/O shield provided with your motherboard into the rear opening of the case.
  3. Carefully place your Micro ATX or ITX motherboard onto the standoffs inside the case and secure it with screws.
  4. Install your ATX power supply into the dedicated compartment at the bottom rear of the case and secure it with screws.

2.3 Drive Installation

The case provides bays for both 3.5-inch HDDs and 2.5-inch SSDs.

  • 3.5-inch HDDs: Two internal drive bays are located beneath the PSU shroud. Slide your HDDs into the trays and secure them.
  • 2.5-inch SSDs: Two internal drive bays are available, typically mounted on the back of the motherboard tray or on the PSU shroud. Secure your SSDs with screws.

2.4 Graphics Card Installation

The case includes a support bracket for your graphics card to prevent sagging.

  1. Remove the necessary PCI slot covers from the rear of the case.
  2. Insert your graphics card into the appropriate PCI-E slot on your motherboard and secure it with a screw.
  3. Adjust the graphics card support bracket to hold the card firmly in place.

3. Operating Instructions

Once all components are installed and cables are connected, you can power on your system.

3.1 Powering On/Off

Press the power button on the front I/O panel to turn on your computer. To turn it off, use the operating system's shutdown function or press and hold the power button for a few seconds.

3.2 RGB Fan Control

The GAMEMAX H605-TA includes three pre-installed RGB fans with addressable LEDs. These can be controlled using the provided remote control to adjust colors and lighting effects.

  • Point the remote control towards the RGB controller inside the case.
  • Use the buttons on the remote to cycle through different colors, lighting modes, and adjust brightness or speed of effects.

4. Maintenance

Regular maintenance helps ensure optimal performance and longevity of your PC case and components.

  • Dust Filters: The top panel features a magnetic dust filter. Regularly remove and clean this filter to prevent dust buildup inside the case.
  • Tempered Glass Panels: Clean the tempered glass panels with a soft, lint-free cloth and a glass cleaner. Avoid abrasive materials that could scratch the glass.
  • Internal Cleaning: Periodically open the case and use compressed air to remove dust from fans, heatsinks, and other components. Ensure the system is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your PC case, consider the following basic troubleshooting steps:

  • System Not Powering On:
    • Ensure the power supply is properly connected to the wall outlet and switched on.
    • Verify that the power button cable from the front I/O panel is correctly connected to the motherboard's front panel header.
    • Check all internal power connections (24-pin ATX, CPU power, GPU power).
  • Fans Not Spinning / RGB Not Working:
    • Ensure fan power cables are securely connected to the motherboard or fan controller.
    • Verify that the RGB controller is receiving power and that RGB cables are correctly connected to the fans.
    • Check the remote control battery if applicable.
  • USB Ports Not Functioning:
    • Confirm that the USB headers from the front I/O panel are correctly plugged into the motherboard.
