3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Unfolding and Positioning the Solar Panel

1. Place the folded solar panel on a flat, stable surface.
2. Carefully unfold the panel sections until it is fully extended.
3. Utilize the integrated adjustable stand to angle the panel towards the sun for optimal exposure. Adjust the angle to maximize solar energy capture.

3.2 Connecting to a DJI Power Station

The DJI IBCPOWER 200W Foldable Solar Panel requires a DJI Power Solar Panel Adapter Module (MPPT) to connect to DJI Power series power stations. The MPPT module is sold separately.

• Connect the MC4 connectors from the solar panel to the DJI Power Solar Panel Adapter Module (MPPT).
• Connect the MPPT module to your DJI Power series power station using the appropriate cable.
• A single DJI Power Solar Panel Adapter Module (MPPT) can connect one to two 200W solar panels.
• Important Power Limits:
  • When connecting to DJI Power 1000, the total output power of the solar panels should not exceed 400W.
  • When connecting to DJI Power 500, the total output power of the solar panels should not exceed 300W.

4. Operating Instructions

• Optimal Sunlight: For maximum efficiency, position the solar panel directly facing the sun. Adjust the angle periodically as the sun moves across the sky.
• Environmental Conditions: The panel is designed to operate within a temperature range of -10°C to 60°C. Avoid exposing the panel to temperatures outside this range for prolonged periods.
• Weather Resistance: With an IP67 rating, the panel is resistant to dust and water splashes. However, for prolonged heavy rain or extreme weather, it is recommended to fold and store the panel to ensure longevity.
• Obstruction Avoidance: Ensure no shadows or obstructions cover the solar cells, as this can significantly reduce power output.
