1. Setup

2. Operating Instructions

2.1 Basic Scanning Procedure

The PowerScan PD9130 is designed to read 1D linear barcodes quickly and accurately.

  3. Press and hold the trigger button located on the handle. A red LED aiming line will be projected from the scanner.

  5. Once the barcode is successfully read, the scanner will emit an audible beep and/or a green 'Good Read' LED indicator will illuminate.
  6. Release the trigger button. The scanned data will be transmitted to your connected computer as keyboard input.

  • Good Read Indicator: A green LED light and/or a configurable beep sound indicates a successful barcode read.
  • Aiming Line: A red LED line assists in accurately targeting the barcode.
