5. Alarm Notifications

When an alarm or timer concludes, the sound will come from your paired Echo device, and the LEDs on the Echo Wall Clock will flash to provide a visual alert.

Maintenance

1. Battery Replacement

The Echo Wall Clock is powered by four AA batteries. When the batteries are low, the clock's performance may be affected. Replace all four batteries with new ones to ensure optimal functionality.

2. Cleaning

To clean your Echo Wall Clock, gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.

3. Important Note

To prevent damage, never attempt to manually move or adjust the clock hands. All time adjustments and synchronizations are handled automatically via your paired Echo device.

Troubleshooting

  • Clock Not Pairing: Ensure your Echo device is powered on and within Bluetooth range (approximately 30 feet). Try restarting both your Echo device and the Echo Wall Clock (by removing and reinserting batteries). Then, re-initiate the pairing process with the voice command: "Alexa, set up my Echo Wall Clock."
  • Incorrect Time Display: The clock automatically syncs its time with your paired Echo device. If the time is incorrect, verify that the clock is successfully paired and within range. If issues persist, try re-pairing the device.
  • Short Battery Life: Frequent use of the LED timer display can consume battery power more quickly. Consider using high-quality alkaline batteries. If battery life remains unusually short, ensure there are no constant disconnections/reconnections, which can drain power.
  • Hands Not Moving Correctly: As a reminder, avoid physically manipulating the clock hands. If the hands are not moving or are stuck, try restarting the clock by removing and reinserting the batteries. If the problem continues after re-pairing, the device may be faulty.
  • No Sound for Alarms/Timers: The Echo Wall Clock does not have its own speaker. All audio alerts for timers and alarms will come from your paired Echo device. Ensure your Echo device's volume is audible.
