1. Introduction
The KuWFi CPE810UT is a versatile 4G LTE WiFi Internet Router designed to provide reliable wireless internet access. It supports HSPA/LTE Data SIM cards for direct internet access and can also function in Gateway mode when a 4G SIM card is not available. This router offers multiple work modes including 4G to WiFi, 4G to LAN, PPPoE, and WiFi Repeater mode, supporting 4G FDD-LTE bands B2/B4/B12 for Canada.
Its compact design makes it easy to connect and carry, allowing up to 32 WiFi users to share the internet securely in various locations.
2. Product Overview
2.1. Device Layout

2.2. LED Indicators
- Power: Indicates the device power status.
- LAN: Indicates activity on the LAN ports.
- WPS: Indicates WPS function status.
- WiFi: Indicates Wi-Fi network status.
- Signal Strength: Indicates the strength of the 4G LTE signal.

4. Setup Instructions
4.1. SIM Card Insertion
- Ensure the router is powered off.
- Locate the SIM card slot on the side or back of the router.
- Insert your activated 4G LTE data SIM card into the slot with the chip facing up, ensuring it clicks into place.
- Ensure the SIM card's PIN code is disabled before insertion for plug-and-play functionality.

4.2. Powering On
- Connect the power adapter to the DC In port on the router.
- Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
- The Power LED indicator will light up, and other indicators will follow as the device boots up.
4.3. Connecting to Wi-Fi
- On your computer or mobile device, search for available Wi-Fi networks.
- Locate the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) printed on the label at the bottom of your router (e.g., "WiFi-XXXXXX", where XXXXXX are the last 6 digits of the MAC address).
- Enter the default Wi-Fi Key (password) also found on the router's label.
4.4. Accessing the Admin Panel and APN Configuration
- Open a web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox) on a device connected to the router's Wi-Fi.
- In the address bar, type the default router IP address: 192.168.10.1 and press Enter.
- Log in using the default username and password (usually "admin" for both, check the router label if different).
- If you experience "Connect WiFi but no network data connection", you may need to configure the APN settings. Navigate to Network > APN > Enable.
- Modify the APN settings according to your SIM card provider's information. You can find this information by inserting your SIM card into a smartphone and checking its mobile network access point settings.

5. Operating Modes
The KuWFi CPE810UT supports various operating modes to suit different network requirements:
- 4G to WiFi Mode: Provides Wi-Fi internet access using a 4G LTE data SIM card.
- 4G to LAN Mode: Provides wired internet access via LAN ports using a 4G LTE data SIM card.
- PPPoE Mode: Connects to the internet via a wired modem using PPPoE.
- WiFi Repeater Mode: Extends the range of an existing Wi-Fi network.
- Gateway Mode: Connects to an existing modem for internet access if a 4G SIM card is not used.
To switch between modes, access the router's admin panel (192.168.10.1) and navigate to the "Work Mode" settings.
6. Maintenance
- Keep the device in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners.
- Periodically check for firmware updates through the admin panel to ensure optimal performance and security.
- If the device becomes unresponsive, perform a soft reboot by unplugging and re-plugging the power adapter. If issues persist, use the reset button to restore factory settings (note: this will erase all custom configurations).
7. Troubleshooting
7.1. No Internet Connection
- Check SIM Card: Ensure the SIM card is correctly inserted and activated. Verify that the PIN code is disabled.
- APN Settings: Confirm that the APN settings in the router's admin panel match your SIM card provider's specifications (refer to Section 4.4).
- Signal Strength: Check the 4G signal strength indicator on the router. If the signal is weak, try relocating the router.
- SIM Card Compatibility: Ensure your SIM card supports the router's bands (4G FDD-LTE: B2/B4/B12 for Canada). Roaming service, Virtual SIM Cards, and IoT SIM Cards may not be supported.
7.2. Unstable Connection
- Signal Stability: In the router's admin panel, you can manage settings to lock the 4G or 3G network to improve stability if the signal is unstable.
- Router Placement: Ensure the router is placed in an open area, away from obstructions and other electronic devices that may cause interference.
7.3. Forgotten Wi-Fi Password or Admin Login
- Router Label: The default Wi-Fi SSID and password, as well as the admin IP address and login credentials, are printed on a label on the router.
- Factory Reset: If you have changed the password and forgotten it, perform a factory reset by pressing and holding the Reset button for about 10 seconds while the router is powered on. This will revert all settings to default.
