3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation
The GearLight S2000 LED Flashlight operates on 4 standard AA batteries (not included). Follow these steps to install the batteries:
- Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight by turning it counter-clockwise.
- Remove the battery carrier from the flashlight body.
- Insert four AA batteries into the carrier, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated on the carrier.
- Insert the loaded battery carrier back into the flashlight body, aligning the arrow on the carrier with the flashlight's internal contacts.
- Screw the tail cap back on clockwise until it is securely tightened.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off and Mode Selection
The flashlight features a tactical tail-cap switch for power control and mode selection:
- To Turn On/Off: Press the tail-cap button firmly until it clicks.
- To Change Modes: With the flashlight on, lightly press the tail-cap button (without a full click) to cycle through the three lighting modes: High, Medium, and Low. The flashlight will always start in High mode when turned on.
4.2 Zoom Function
Adjust the beam from a wide floodlight to a focused spotlight by sliding the head of the flashlight in and out. This allows for versatile illumination depending on your needs.
