3. Setup

3.1. Unboxing

Carefully remove the controller from its packaging. Ensure all components are present and undamaged.

3.2. Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the controller. Connect the DualShock 4 to your PlayStation 4 system using a micro USB cable (not included). The controller can be charged even when the PS4 is in rest mode. The light bar will slowly blink orange during charging and turn off when fully charged.
