5. Installation Instructions

Installation typically takes 10-15 minutes. A screwdriver and work gloves are the only tools required. Two people are recommended for lifting the dryer.

5.1. Preparation

1. Ensure both the washer and dryer are unplugged from their power sources.
2. Position the washer in its final location, ensuring it is level and stable.
3. Clear the area around the washer and dryer to allow for easy movement.

5.2. Attaching Stacking Support Guides to Dryer

1. Locate the two plastic stacking support guides.
2. Align the guides with the designated slots on the top rear corners of your dryer. The guides should snap into place.

5.3. Lifting and Positioning the Dryer

1. With the help of a second person, carefully lift the dryer.
2. Position the dryer directly on top of the washer, ensuring the stacking support guides on the dryer align with the top edges of the washer.
3. Gently lower the dryer, making sure it sits securely and evenly on the washer.

5.4. Securing the Rear Brackets

1. Locate the two iron rear brackets.
2. Align the holes on the iron brackets with the existing screw holes on the rear panel where the washer and dryer meet.
3. Use the provided screws and washers to firmly attach the brackets, securing the dryer to the washer.
