4.1 Receiver Installation
- Plug the receiver into a standard electrical outlet in your desired indoor location. Ensure the outlet is functioning correctly.
4.2 Push Button (Transmitter) Installation
The push button can be installed using either the provided double-sided adhesive tape or screws.

This image demonstrates two installation methods for the push button: using double-sided adhesive tape or mounting with screws and anchors.
Method A: Using Double-Sided Adhesive Tape
- Clean the desired mounting surface thoroughly to ensure it is dry and free of dust or grease.
- Peel off one side of the protective film from the double-sided adhesive tape and attach it firmly to the back of the push button.
- Peel off the other side of the protective film and press the push button firmly onto the cleaned surface for at least 30 seconds.
Method B: Using Screws and Anchors
- Open the push button casing to access the mounting holes.
- Mark the desired drilling locations on the wall using the push button as a template.
- Drill pilot holes and insert wall anchors if necessary (for drywall or masonry).
- Secure the push button to the wall using the provided screw.
- Close the push button casing.
Important Note:
- Avoid mounting the push button on an iron door or metal surface, as this can significantly interfere with the wireless signal and reduce the operating range.

6. Maintenance
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your CACAZI Wireless Doorbell, follow these maintenance guidelines:
6.1 Transmitter Battery Replacement
The push button (transmitter) is powered by a 23A 12V alkaline battery. This battery is not rechargeable. Replace the battery when you notice a decrease in the doorbell's operating range or if the push button's LED indicator (if present) no longer illuminates upon pressing.
- Carefully open the casing of the push button.
- Remove the old 23A 12V battery.
- Insert a new 23A 12V alkaline battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the casing securely.
6.2 Receiver
The receiver plugs into a wall circuit and does not require batteries. No specific maintenance is needed beyond ensuring it remains plugged into a working outlet.
6.3 Cleaning
Wipe the doorbell units with a dry, soft cloth to remove dust or dirt. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or excessive moisture, as these can damage the components.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your CACAZI Wireless Doorbell, please refer to the following troubleshooting guide:
Problem: Doorbell does not ring when the push button is pressed.
- Solution: Ensure the receiver is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet. Try plugging another device into the same outlet to confirm it has power.
- Solution: Check the transmitter battery. The push button requires a 23A 12V alkaline battery. If the battery is depleted, replace it with a new one (refer to Section 6.1).
- Solution: Verify the distance between the transmitter and receiver. While the doorbell has an operating range of up to 1100 feet (350m) in open areas, obstacles like thick walls, metal structures, or other electronic devices can reduce this range. Try moving the receiver closer to the push button.
- Solution: Ensure the push button is not mounted on an iron door or a large metal surface. Metal can interfere with the wireless signal. Relocate the push button if necessary.
Problem: Chime is too quiet or too loud.
- Solution: Adjust the volume using the dedicated volume button on the side of the receiver (refer to Section 5.3).
Problem: Doorbell rings intermittently or has a weak signal.
- Solution: Replace the transmitter battery, even if it seems to be working. A low battery can cause signal degradation.
- Solution: Check for potential sources of interference, such as large metal objects, thick walls, or other wireless devices operating on similar frequencies. Try repositioning the receiver or transmitter slightly.
