4. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to set up your Raeisusp power kit:
- Insert the DC Coupler: Open your camera's battery compartment and insert the EP-5B DC Coupler (dummy battery) in the same orientation as a standard EN-EL15 battery. Ensure it is fully seated.
- Route the Cable: Close the battery compartment door, making sure the DC coupler cable passes through the designated cable exit slot on your camera (if available) to prevent pinching.
- Connect the USB Cable: Connect the small round connector of the QC PRO USB Cable to the port on the EP-5B DC Coupler.
- Connect to Power Source: Plug the USB-A end of the QC PRO USB Cable into the provided QC3.0 USB Adapter. Then, plug the QC3.0 USB Adapter into a wall outlet. Alternatively, you can connect the USB-A end of the QC PRO USB Cable to a compatible QC3.0/QC4.0 power bank.

5. Operating Instructions
Once the kit is properly connected to a suitable power source:
- Power On: Turn on your camera. The intelligent analysis within the QC PRO USB cable will detect the camera's required operating power and adjust its output accordingly within five seconds. This ensures optimal power delivery for functions like the camera shutter.
- Indicator Light: The USB cable has a red indicator light. If the light is solid red, the unit is receiving sufficient power and the camera can be turned on. If the red light does not illuminate or flashes after connection, the output voltage may be insufficient (e.g., default 5V from a non-QC port), which is not enough to power the camera.

6. Important Notes and Warnings
- Power Source Requirement: This kit requires a power source that supports Quick Charge 3.0 (QC3.0) or Quick Charge 4.0 (QC4.0) for proper operation. Using an ordinary USB port (e.g., computer USB 2.0) which typically provides 5V and less than 500mA current, or some mobile phone/tablet USB chargers that do not recognize the camera's power requirements, will not provide sufficient power.
- Recommended Power Banks: For optimal performance, use high-quality mobile power banks or power supplies that support large current discharges, such as those with a TI chip TPS61088 (10A switching current), to meet the camera's instantaneous high power needs.
- Disconnection Noise: When disconnecting the USB power supply, the USB drive cable may produce a short, slight "squeak" noise. This is a normal phenomenon of the Farah capacitor discharge and does not indicate a malfunction.
- Safety Protections: The device incorporates multiple safety features including overvoltage protection, overheating protection, overpower protection, overcurrent protection, and short circuit protection to ensure safe and reliable use.

7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues, refer to the following troubleshooting guide:
- Camera Not Powering On / Low Battery Indication:
- Ensure your power source (wall adapter or power bank) supports QC3.0 or QC4.0. Standard USB ports (e.g., computer USB) are often insufficient.
- Check all cable connections to ensure they are secure.
- Verify the red indicator light on the USB cable is solid red. If not, the power input is inadequate.
- Try a different QC3.0/QC4.0 compatible power source.
- Camera Displays "Err" Message:
- This can occur if the camera is not receiving stable or sufficient power. Recheck your power source and connections as described above.
- Ensure the dummy battery is correctly inserted into the camera's battery compartment.
- Some camera models may be more sensitive to power fluctuations. Ensure your power bank meets the recommended specifications for high current discharge.
- Slight "Squeak" Noise When Disconnecting:
- This is normal and indicates the discharge of the Farah capacitor. It is not a fault.
