3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking and Initial Cleaning
- Remove all packaging materials, including any stickers or labels, from the toaster.
- Wipe the exterior of the toaster with a damp cloth to remove any dust.
- Ensure the crumb tray is properly inserted at the bottom of the toaster.
3.2 First Use
Before toasting food for the first time, operate the toaster without bread to burn off any manufacturing residues. This may produce a slight odor and some smoke; this is normal and will dissipate quickly.
- Plug the toaster into a standard electrical outlet.
- Set the browning control to a medium setting (e.g., 3 or 4).
- Press the toast lever down until it latches.
- Allow the cycle to complete.
- Repeat this process 2-3 times in a well-ventilated area.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Basic Toasting
- Place up to two slices of bread into the toaster slots.
- Select your desired browning level using the browning control dial (1 for light, 6 for dark).
- Press the toast lever down until it latches. The toasting timer will begin to count down.
- When the cycle is complete, the toast will automatically pop up.
4.2 Using the Functions
- Bagel Function: Insert bagels with the cut side facing inwards. Press the toast lever down, then press the Bagel button. This function toasts the cut side and warms the outer side.
- Frozen Function: Place frozen bread into the slots. Press the toast lever down, then press the Frozen button. This function automatically adjusts the toasting time for frozen items.
- Cancel Function: To stop the toasting cycle at any time, press the Cancel button.
4.3 Lift & Look Feature
To check the toasting progress without interrupting the cycle, simply lift the toast lever upwards. The toast will temporarily rise, allowing you to inspect it. Release the lever to continue toasting.

4.4 Using the Removable Warming Rack
The warming rack is designed to gently heat buns, pastries, and rolls. It should not be used for toasting bread slices.
- Place the warming rack securely onto the top of the toaster slots.
- Place the items to be warmed on the rack.
- Set the browning control to a low setting (e.g., 1 or 2).
- Press the toast lever down.
- Monitor the items closely to prevent over-warming or burning.
- Once warmed, lift the toast lever to release and carefully remove the items.
- Remove the warming rack before toasting bread slices.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Crumb Tray
Regularly empty the crumb tray to prevent crumb buildup, which can be a fire hazard.
- Ensure the toaster is unplugged and completely cool.
- Pull out the crumb tray located at the bottom of the toaster.
- Discard crumbs.
- Wipe the tray with a damp cloth, then dry thoroughly.
- Slide the crumb tray back into place until it clicks securely.
5.2 Exterior Cleaning
- Ensure the toaster is unplugged and cool.
- Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the finish.
- Dry thoroughly with a soft, dry cloth.
6. Troubleshooting
