3. Water Supply Connection

Connect your garden hose to the water inlet on the pressure washer. Ensure the garden hose is free of kinks and has a minimum diameter of 5/8 inches. Turn on the water supply completely before starting the pressure washer to purge air from the system.

4. Electrical Connection

Plug the pressure washer into a grounded 120V AC outlet. Ensure the circuit is protected by a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI). Do not use extension cords unless absolutely necessary, and if used, ensure they are rated for outdoor use and the appropriate gauge for the power requirements.

5. Attaching Spray Tips

Select the desired quick-connect spray tip based on your cleaning task. Pull back the collar on the spray gun wand, insert the tip, and release the collar to lock it in place. Tug on the tip to ensure it is securely fastened.

  • Red (0°) Tip: For intense spot cleaning or hard-to-reach areas. Use with extreme caution.
  • Yellow (15°) Tip: For aggressive cleaning of stubborn stains on hard surfaces.
  • Green (25°) Tip: For general cleaning of most surfaces.
  • White (40°) Tip: For gentle cleaning of delicate surfaces or wide area rinsing.
  • Black (Soap) Tip: For applying detergent at low pressure.

6. Filling the Detergent Tank

Open the cap of the onboard detergent tank and fill it with pressure washer safe detergent. Do not use bleach or abrasive cleaners. Close the cap securely.

Operating Instructions

Once the unit is set up, follow these steps for operation:

1. Starting the Pressure Washer

  1. Ensure the water supply is fully open.
  2. Squeeze the trigger on the spray gun to release any air trapped in the system. Hold the trigger until a steady stream of water emerges.
  3. Turn the power switch to the "ON" position. The motor will start.
  4. Release the trigger to allow the motor to build pressure. The motor may cycle on and off to maintain pressure.

2. Using Detergent

To apply detergent, attach the black (soap) quick-connect tip to the spray gun. The pressure washer will automatically draw detergent from the tank and mix it with the water at a low pressure. Apply detergent to the surface, allowing it to soak for a few minutes (refer to detergent instructions), but do not let it dry.

3. Rinsing

After applying detergent, switch to a high-pressure tip (e.g., green 25° or yellow 15°) for rinsing. Start rinsing from the top of the surface and work your way down, maintaining a consistent distance from the surface to avoid damage.

4. Shutting Down

  1. Turn the power switch to the "OFF" position.
  2. Turn off the water supply.
  3. Squeeze the trigger on the spray gun to release any remaining pressure in the system. This is crucial for safety and to prevent damage to the pump.
  4. Disconnect the garden hose and high-pressure hose.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your pressure washer.

1. Cleaning Spray Tips

If a spray tip becomes clogged, use the included nozzle cleaning pin to clear any debris. Always disconnect the tip from the spray gun before cleaning.

2. Water Inlet Filter

Periodically check and clean the water inlet filter to prevent debris from entering the pump. Remove the filter, rinse it with water, and reinsert it.

3. Storage

Before storing, especially in freezing temperatures, ensure all water is drained from the pump, hoses, and spray gun. Run a pump protector solution through the unit if storing for extended periods or in cold climates. Store the unit in a dry, protected area.
