Setup
The NICRON N7 flashlight is powered by either a single AA battery or a 14500 rechargeable battery (batteries are not included). Follow these steps to install the battery:
- Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight by turning it counter-clockwise.
- Insert one AA battery or one 14500 rechargeable battery into the battery compartment with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the flashlight.
- Screw the tail cap back on clockwise until it is securely tightened. Ensure it is fully tightened to maintain water resistance.

Operation
Power On/Off and Mode Selection
The NICRON N7 features a single side switch for all operations. To prevent accidental activation, the flashlight requires a specific sequence to turn on and off.
- To Turn On: Press and hold the side switch for approximately 2 seconds. The flashlight will activate in High mode.
- To Cycle Modes: Once on, quickly press the side switch to cycle through the modes: High → Low.
- To Activate Strobe/SOS: From any ON mode, press and hold the side switch for approximately 3-5 seconds to activate Strobe mode. Press and hold again for 3-5 seconds to activate SOS mode.
- To Turn Off: From any mode, press and hold the side switch for approximately 2 seconds.
- Lockout Function: To prevent accidental activation during transport, slightly unscrew the tail cap by a few turns. This will break the electrical connection and prevent the flashlight from turning on.

90-Degree Rotatable Head
